You know you dont need to mark every hex to 100% whenever they decay a little right?! stranger wolves wont be interested until they hit about 40%-50%, you can go without marking for a few days at least and then do it all at once
@@athernaut7939 Logically I KNOW that we don’t need to mark that often (even the devs have stated this) but my stupid monkey brain cannot handle the sight of my hexes lowering below 70%….I wish I could turn it off and just play carefree, but intense territory management seems to be ingrained in me 😭
i "nah id win this" because i immediately took over lamar canyon and relied on them all to hunt for me, i swear i never got above like 40% hp the whole game cus i fought everything 😭
real i always either play on easy or challenging and one time on easy mode a pup died of sickness, another died from a bull elk, then like two or three got destroyed by rival packs (who can still attack at the young hunter stage?? tf???)
The WQAE devs did say that you shouldn’t expect every one of your pups to survive, even on easy mode. In the Young Hunters stage, rivals don’t really even try to kill your pups, they are just really a nuisance. All you need to do is target a low health puppy and bark at them (I recommend putting the Bark command in your hot keys). To make any rival pack flee (if they are trying to ‘attack’ your pups or steal your territory), all you gotta do is kill one of the rival pack puppies. Also, I HEAVILY recommend to stop playing on easy mode. Play a run or two on Accurate, and Ironwolf. It makes you MUCH better at the game, since you get used to the game being incredibly easy and laidback on Easy mode and you don’t learn certain strategies
Every time a pack starts a territory raid on me, I name the pack leaders "mother" and "father" so I know which ones to target during the fight. After killing them, the pack usually leaves and keeps themselves occupied for a few days trying to find a new leader / mate for the surviving leader. Or better yet, that pack dies off / disperses and I get to steal some more territory before a new pack appears. I've destroyed two packs so far and I've nearly claimed the entire bottom half of the map lmao. Maintaining said territory is such an annoying chore though. TvT
45:20 Honestly its the devs' fault I can't keep anyone alive during predator attacks right now because how can you focus on anything when there's this absolute banger playing in the background. 100% Tim Buzza's fault and not because I'm a bad wolf parent.
So I recently played the fully released version of the Saga and I’ve gotta say…. Even on easy, this sh*t is DIFFICULT!!! The coyotes are such pains now and it actually feels like you’re fighting for your life at times. I love it, but boy is it giving me a headache 😭
45:59 a lil tip if you want the pack to go away faster when they really aren't just go into your known wolf menu find the pack leader name them and then target its the only way i kept my pups alive through attacks by like 10 other wolves XD
Honestly, it didn't go that badly for trying the Saga for the first time on accurate, you did a good job! Just a friendly tip though, feel free to disregard if you want, but: you really don't need to be marking your whole entire territory so much. There's rarely a good reason to go out of your way to mark any hex that's still above 50% strength, and they added more stages to how the territory hexes display on the map in the Saga in an attempt to communicate this better to players. You do you of course, but for instance, if you had a spent little more with Green Been (until the spending time goes on cooldown that is) during that point instead of going off to mark your whole territory at once, they might have had a slightly better chance. Or at least spent that time hunting or resting, y'know something else more immediately useful. Maybe you just like when territory % number = Big though, I can respect that. Just thought I'd offer the information in case you weren't aware, please take it as you will. Also, very entertaining video btw.
This is my biggest pet peeve, WQ has explained it so many times, but for some reason everyone still thinks that if they dont mark their entire territory to 100% every time one hex decays a little, all three rival packs on the map are going to invade immediately

What is the IK system?
Hi! Loved the video, the pups are like so cute
Where the saga videosss
I love wq but it takes soooo long to complete quests 💔
YYYEEEESSS
amazing video as always!!!!! also i was in your pack killing server once (i was falcon)
where do i play this
Steam!
i will miss the M856 voat tbh, W video by the way, i dont want to play the saga in its beta so im waiting for the official release of the saga in good shape
Me too 😭 I want it to be bright again. I guess it makes sense though, since the older coat is based off of an older wolf
i mean no it doesnt make sense, og coats ar the best cuz they ar so iconic, they bring back so many wq2.7 memories, thats why i love them
My wolf Juniper just lost her m8 Cedar… poor Cedar he was such a good m8. AND THE STUPID ADD FOR THOOSE DEPRESSING PHONES AND WATCHES HAD TO DISRESPECT CEDAR THIS THING WILL GET CANCELED
-I SCREAMED when that add showed up you don’t even know💀
Hii!! Can you maybe make a video about how can you be on the saga? I still don’t know how too, and it will be very helpful if you will make a video about it! :D
(I’m not in the saga yet and I still don’t know how to be on it)
Also wolfquest has a youtube channel where they explain how to do it in their description. Just click on the video where they addressed the release of the saga public bata and scroll all the way down in their description and they tell you how to find it.
Yes Ik, I already in the saga thanks tho:D
Bro my new wolf looks almost the same as yours- She's got a flat ear though and a snaggle tooth + a bit more orange. And they both live in the southwest of hellroaring what is this 😭Anyways her name is Citrine and her and her pack have a gemstone theme bc they live in the geode marsh area.
21:57 so real
I would not stop reloading tho
YUAY YOU UPLOADED
YIPPIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
MY FAV WQ TH-camR POSTED RAHHHHHH
If you already own wolfquest do you just automatically get this?
@@warriorwolfehh yees
You need to download the beta
So happy they didn't make this shit DLC, so many game companies would be like "yeah, this should be dlc."
Now they just have to optimize the game
Did you have to pay for the pups? Cuz in old version you do so just to know
ty
@@psg.patricia No, it’s a 1 time payment for the entire game
brother do u be stimmin on that capslock key??
nah man I don’t use the shift key to capitalize letters I just double tap the capslock LOL
@Hnowu I really respect that method tbh.
part 2?
Consensus says yer
@@Hnowu yay
Yay
Hnowu do you think if you don’t get a mate in the ‘mating season’ in time you wouldn’t get to have one?
If you run out of time then you run out of time to have pups in the spring! Being a loner for the entire year is possible now :)
@ that’s so cool, thanks!! :D
@@Hnowu WAIT REALLY??? I'm confused wait, so when the game starts and there's the "Find a Mate" quest, it's possible to just not get a mate in general? Or is this for when your mate dies and you fail to get another one?
@@JayCares the game gives you the find a mate quest - there is an allotted time until the breeding season (indicated by the circle under the “find a mate” quest tab which will tell you how much time you have left) and if you fail to find or refuse to find a mate, the game will move to spring and you won’t have pups that year. You’ll move through spring, summer, and then into fall again
Your young pups have learned to fight against another pack. Congrats! 😄
IS THE GAME WORTH BUYING????I'VE BEEN DEBATING GETTING IT NGL
@@Karawcue yes
HNOWU POSTTT 😭🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yay I went on wq and killed a few thousand crevice lake wolves or smth and killed my “man stealer” and got my mate and i got 3 pups, yearlings, and 1 sub. Hurray i bet I killed them all off 😐
I hate coyotes now too
How do you get to test the beta and play in the SAGA version???
It’s out now
13:35
Wait, are you a beta tester or is it actually out?
I applied to be a beta tester when that was available but nothing ever came of it. The saga is out currently in public beta, but isn’t officially released (it’ll be fully released by the end of the year or early next year as they work on snuffing out the bugs.)
L i had 7/7 when i got to thier......then i had 3.
Rip in peace huh i hope you were very delicious and nutritious to justify being eaten 💔💔🙏🙏🙏
no sleep should equal death. Meta gaming is cringe.
wtf are you talking about
