Funnily enough, I think this would lead to Ben going last, because he always gives himself a lower score than he deserves. I mean, for example in the couscous episode, Barry rated himself 9/10, while Ben rated himself 7/10... 😂
They did this XD It's the order in the first episode from season two!
Any order, except the person who went before the next one gets to watch quietly. E.g., James goes first, does his shit, and then Jamie comes second, and James is forced to silently watch the chaos unravel. Then James goes back to the seats, Jamie takes his place, and watches whoever goes after him.

I felt so bad for Barry. I just about died laughing during Jamie's turn (That voiceover was amazing!) As soon as I knew that Jamie wasn't going to check the fridge I knew it was going to be hilarious.

deprofundis To me all Jamie screwed up on was not checking the fridge. We all knew plating wasn’t going to be fantastic. But this situation was sort of like when Barry made the cloud eggs. He didn’t do much.
Jamie did shit plating that everyone expected, but mike was the reason there wasn't honeycomb- he knew Jamie wouldn't check the fridge (no one else checked the fridge bc why would you in a baking video?) and didn't leave any hints. Also, Barry deserves a higher score bc he had a great idea (yes James had to save it which is why he deserves to be 2nd) and unlike the cloud eggs this fitted within the theme and would've really brought it together

The camera person/producer tells them the theme and order then Mike/Janice does the voice over saying pretty much the same thing. Mike doesn't know the order or the theme before hand as it wouldn't be fair.
To do the Janice being sassy on them thing, Mike watches every PIO after filming the main video.

And it's even more important to check the fridge because they were making something sweet! There is a bloody high chance that someone makes something that needs to chill! It probably doesn't affect the outcome, but it's a bloody PIO!

Look not noticing you're using the wrong unit is a Mood, absolutely, but how clueless about your own recipe do you have to be to fail to notice that you're using 28 TIMES MORE BUTTER THAN USUAL
Honestly, the thing that bothered me is his panic when he noticed. It doesn't matter, all the ingredients were dry weight. He would have just had an enormous batch XD
Order Best to Worst:
Ben: Actually did the baking
James: Makes icing sugar drizzle, tries to save honeycomb
Jamie: Left with random ingredients and just had to plate
Mike: Made cream and chopped stuff
Barry: Panicked, measured wrong, ignored what Ben left for him lol

Extra point to Mike for destroying the set
You should do this with a separate room where anyone who's already gone goes and can watch a live feed of the rest, except for the last person so the finale is still a surprise. That way we can see their reaction to them messing up without being able to do anything about it.

YES!! Can’t tell you boys enough how perfect this series is. Mix of actual baking skills from chefs, and the total blunders from the normals with occasional moments of genius from each of them. Been waiting for this weeks Wednesday video and this is the perfect thing to brighten my day during finals week :)
LOL! I'd rate Ben first as he did the baking and provided a solid foundation to build upon. James second as he recognized the honeycomb on the stove and took the cakes out. Mike is third as he did a good job of pulling things together. Jamie...fourth--you have to check ALL the places, oven, fridge, pantry, etc--but he did try for a decent presentation. And last, Barry. Bless his heart.

What we've learnt from this series: Ben can and will create a dish solo, James can and will save a dish, Mike tries, Jamie's trying, and Barry.

Theme for next time: Use what has been left for you: You are not allowed to use the ingredients you picked ourself, just the one coming laters are allowed to use them. Mike goes first and last, first he picks 5 ingredients and then leaves and comes back to cook as the last person (he has good ideas sometimes). Chefs are allowed to pick 1 ingredient normals 5 to add for the next cook at the end of their turn, let them think about the order themself. Salt and Pepper do not count towards the ingredients. Chefs are not allowed to come after each other.
It is a more complicated suggestion but probably a fun one.

An Order Suggestion:
Random Order: The person cooking beforehand pulls a name out of a hat, and that person goes next.

Suggestion of theme: all with one pan. Everything on the stove or oven needs to be done with the same pan, if it has stuff in it either add to it or take it out to reuse the pan. 1st one gets to choose the pan!

I'd eat that. I'd assumed my 10yo nephew had decorated it, but I'd eat it. Laughed at Jamie's flourish with the cherry and corpsed at it being casually flicked the hell away.
The pretentious ingredients brought me here and the pass it ons made me stay.
I mean for me the taste counts so even if I get an ugly cake, I'd still eat it if it was delicious. If a chef made a cake and my nephew decorated it, I'd definitely eat it. The other way around, possible not though 😂

2. Mike (made something the dish really needed)
3. Jamie(he tried but plating was never his strong suit)

Honestly only Ben and Mike did anything that properly contributed to it so I think they’re the only two that deserve good scores here
