I know this is for first time jobs, but for those that are seeking employment later, I used to do interviews and one piece of advice that I can give... do not complain about prior management, or authority or teachers Ect.... we all know the possibility is out there , that you may have really gotten stuck with a lazy rude mean boss, but we have no proof... all we have to look at is that an employee is complaining about someone who is in a higher position. A job interview is not the place to dog your boss and I see it as " this person may have or horrible boss.... or we may hire someone who has issues with authority" and we rarely ever call back someone who complains. If your being interviewed and you are asked why you are leaving your job, if that is your only reason .... if you have a boss that screams at you... or degraded you.... but other than that you love your current job.... tell your interviewer: "I'm looking for more growth" "I'm looking for opportunities that your company can offer for my career " This can deter from the whole situation, don't focus on your past job, make this interview about the job you are interviewing for!
