@@debrakaiser7700 me too ..I’m sometimes amazed women just walk out the door like my age to run errands and have not as they say “not a stitch of makeup on”. I can see a little foundation or blush and lipstick or just lipstick could make them look less haggard! It’s easy to do and makes me feel good about me and why cosmetics are a multi billion $ industry..so I ain’t alone on this. But I know many who are barefaced and washed out nothing on and I wonder if they even use a skin care regime of any kind?
However I must applaud them for having a non caring attitude. It must be freeing to be like that yet I’ve so so enjoyed making up my face since 14 and get compliments often on my skin but it’s the makeup enhancing my skin with a touch of glow etc. at times it’s harder to make things right when older but darn I try! And it’s not overdone just me but better. Doesn’t it make ya feel good when you’re done making up your face? It sure as sheet does to me 😁

I'm 81 and the other day at the grocery store one of the store clerks stepped aside as I rode a scooter and said "Hi beautiful". I'm so grateful to be Al ve and the best makeup I wear is a smile. I do love cosmetics and have four makeup artist s I follow and learn tons of new stuff. We're not getting older, we're getting better and aging is better than the alternative. You did a fab job with your foundation! It's something I struggle with.

I will turn 70 on April 1 this year ( what an April Fool's joke on me!) and I have always worn makeup except eyeliner. My eyes are my best feature but they are very sensitive. I actually had a retinal detachment of my left eye last fall. So it makes it really hard to apply my makeup. I appreciate the tips!

I also will be 67 this year and I still love make-up too. I'm retired now and don't wear it quite as much as I used to but I still do. As much make-up as I have though, I'll never get thru it all. Exorcist when I see new stuff come out and I just have to get it. 😅
B-day in Jan on the 9th and just turned 67. I can see aging right now no matter how well my skin care is aka jowls and loss of fat but look dang good people say ;)! This is a pretty make-up. I enjoyed watching and I'm going to look at ordering some Lime too because the foundation really looked good, and I'd like a pencil that glides instead of skips.
My thoughts? I'm wondering if your regular eyebrow pencil might be too dark. I thought the one u used was good. We do have to lighten our makeup (and our hair) a little as we age, so it's not harsh. And I'm wondering how it would look if u started your eyebrows a little higher up so that u don't have as severe a comma curve going down toward your face.
You have a beautiful round face. I love your face and don't see roundness as a negative. We have moved into an era where different faces are appreciated for the way they are and we don't have to conform to that oval standard. There are world famous models with round faces these days so you're in good company. ❤
I turned 72 last Dec. Hard to believe! My Dad used to say it beats the alternative! 🙂 You look lovely with a sweet personality. Makeup just puts a jump in our step, doesn't it? My Mom passed a month before her 95th birthday. Her caregiver always did her nails, makeup & hair to perk her up! Bless you sweetie! 🙏

Very good tutorial. I’m 78 years old and I want a quick ,uncomplicated makeup application. I don’t need 5 different colored eye shadow for upper, middle and bottom eyelid. Keep it simple. You showed me more about contouring and highlighting than I’ve learned from other videos. Thanks and keep up the good work.

I’m 71 and always wear makeup and hair pieces even when nippy to the shop for a pint of milk.
I always thought if I lost my hair I'd wear a scarf wrapped around my head like Rhoda Morgenstern used to wear. If you remember her from Mary Tyler Moore.
Hair pieces are good these days you can throw them on in 20 seconds.

I just turned 66 recently .. and rarely go out for few reasons.. health, trying to find the right makeup for my skin & mascara is near impossible for me to apply.. even with a magnifying mirror. I’ve never been one to wear eye shadow but always used mascara.
.
5-10 years ago I had little to no issues re: Makeup but a lot has changed. i.e.
my hair becoming thinner, and some hair loss.
I think it takes courage to do these videos & I appreciate those who put them up. So thanks again. You look beautiful and you look 10+ years younger.

Nursing homes are full of 70 year olds..... You are blessed to be healthy and living at home at 70. I'm 64. You're very real and that is wonderful!! Don't lose too much weight because if you fall, you don't want to break a bone. Stay healthy and beautiful! Thanks for your video!!
I don't know anyone in a nursing home at 70. My husband is 69. Has a full time job in IT and travels Internationally. Our friends are quite active and some are in their late 70's.

Maybe if you are ill but otherwise 70 is not old today if you are fit and busy

You added the greatest definition to your face, I think, when you put on lip color. I turned 70 last summer and I find a good quality powder and lipstick to often be all you need. Nothing on the eyes except occasional mascara, powder and lip color ( and often without liner, though I do like liner). My total makeup regime takes me about 2 minutes and I'm out the door

I had a hard time turning 70, but now at 73 I have definitely adjusted by deciding I have to stop caring what other people think of me getting old and just enjoy my life. Like you, I never go without my makeup & a cute wig. Again like you I got sick in 2020 and have lost a lot of hair. I have cute Pixie wigs, but I really miss my hair. You were about to tell us what you used to thicken your hair, and I lost track. What do you use, I love your hair. If I had the right products I could wear mine like yours. Thank you for teaching me a lot today & you are beautiful & it doesn’t hurt to turn 70 😊

I'm 65 and practically gave up on makeup except for my mascara and brow liner. I don't look finished somedays but your positivity has inspired me to get back on it. Tomorrow is the day since it's 11:30 pm. I really like how your makeup looks, you have lovely skin.
