All the best to you and your recovering husband. Kidney stones are terrible, I passed one while on vacation in Switzerland. I wanted (truly) to die., the worst pain I ever had. That was worse than given birth to my 10.5 pound daughter, without any medication, all au naturel! My screams were heard all over Switzerland,lol.

You’re an absolute doll baby….so adorable!! I’m a 67 year old nail tech and wanted to give you some hope for your fingernails. I’m allergic to gel and acrylic and started wearing fiberglass nails 38 years ago. For the last couple of years I’ve used press on nails and recently found the best nail glue on Amazon. It’s called Superstrong Nailbond. My nails stay on at least two weeks and I have no more trouble with allergies. It’s very common to get an allergy to gel nails, if you get any of the uncured gel on your skin, often times it results in an allergic reaction and looks and feels just like what you’re experiencing. I would give your current nails an opportunity to heal before trying anything else though.

I always use lipstick as my blush. I used to use powder, but haven’t in years. I hope there aren’t too many negative comments, just be yourself. Hope your husband is recovering well. I am also 70. I wear mascara, blush and lipstick. I avoid the sun but wear 70 SPF if I'm doing water sports.
You look adorable! You also convinced me never ever to get no chip nails again. My husband bought me a gift card for that….they are a beautiful French style…but that’s it…they can grow out and regular manicure from now on!

Hi Pam your a lovely lady .I still love my make up too ..I have way too much😊..people ask me why I still wear make up in my seventies..I say why don’t you ?.😂 ..I have had the same as your husband. Had a huge diamond shaped stone stuck in the tube and had to get an operation to break it up..excruciating pain..hope it all goes well for him ..sending love and best wishes to you both

P.s. Give your nails a break until that infection clears up. You can cause yourself a serious problem if you continue to put chemicals on the tips of your fingernails. I would code them with Aquaphor and just let them be for at least a month or so.
