  • This is an overview of rebuilding the transfer case in the Land Cruiser. We installed stiffer shift detent springs to give firming shifts and a fresh set of bearings and seals.

    Great video good job on the rebuild. That bearing press is pretty handy can be used for a lot of things . Nice to have a parts cleaner it’s no fun working on greasy stuff. Hope to see that out on the trail soon . Thanks Tim

    At minute 9:07 you’re putting back the piece that covers the 4wd gears. How the heck did you get that off? I’m at the point where I’m trying to get that drive shaft bearing off and I’m having a hard time figuring how to get that part off. Any suggestions? You didn’t show that part. Thanks!
