I'm a ground RB player so i will share my thought on this: 1. Don't Auto repair: This trick only work with a line up that are extremely expensive to repair, however after the recent repair cost revamp, it's actually not worth the hassle to skip the auto repair. If you are running a cheap line up with some high repair cost line up, always spawn the cheap one first, then the higher one later. This trick is to determine if it is worth it to use the expensive vehicle to play after the match have already gone half way and you can know if your team is winning -> you can get repair cost back from winning bonus, or just keep spawning the cheap one to run out of SP so you can go to next game. 2. Remove unnecessary modification: YES, ABSOLUTELY YES. Remove all the Excavator modification on USSR tank, all the fire adjustment on ATGM firing tanks, all SPG support on SPAA, heck you can even remove all the brake and track modification on 2 plane stabilized tanks if you are that broke. Remove all the NVG mod then remove night map from your MM, it will save you thousands of SL each vehicle since these mods are usually tier 3 ~4, which add a lot of repair cost to your tank. 3. Clean up your shooting: Well this tip is kinda useless for Ground RB, don't even bother with it, anything you shoot, you kill will make up for your shot easily. So don't bother using shit AP because it's free and skip the well rounded APHE because it cost SL. Your repair cost when you died because your tank can't pen the enemy is way higher than the SL that shitty round is saving ya. Get the best shell that you had and use it. 4. Make the most of your purchase during sales: Well duh, you are saving SL with sales, ofcourse you should do it. But don't blindly do it by staying in Rank 4 for 6 months while grinding your ass for Rank 5 and 6 with a low tier Rank 4 tanks. The higher the tier, the more worth it this tip is, but if you are in low tier and each tank cost
Couple things for number 2, Track boosts your turn speed, which can save you in a T-72, but not as much with neutral steer. Only ditch TRUE NVD, if it has TVD, keep it since it’ll help spot. Oh and ignore this entire segment for premium vehicles since they give enough to afford the repair with like, 1 kill.
for the adults here, focus on your career first, war thunder is not going anywhere .. once you've built that career, you can use your disposable income to buy premium time and vehicles (speaking from experience and having 150M Silver Lions now) .
3 points. You only get crew repair speed boost if the vehicle is in a slot. Make a 'repair' preset, fill it with broken vehicles and make sure you select it on EVERY nation before you log out. 2. Don't even buy the initial mods you won't use... ie you don't need brakes on an Ozelot, you can fire on the move, why spend the 20k?... are you really going to use dumb bombs on a top tier jet? Finally, you can occasionally get your mods for 1GE and skip the SL cost. At higher tiers this is well worth it.
5:41 really came in clutch for me during the christmas sale. i ended up being able to buy 5 planes from the F16 line, as well as buying my first abrams, which funnily enough, made me profit from buying since buying my first rank 7 tank gave me an achievement for 500k SL, the tank, as well as the crew training both costing less than that reward, buying the abrams actually gave me around 90k SL haha also i dont think you added the calendar to the description :>
Another thing he didn't touch on, if you're going to go down no matter what like if your wings got shot off or something. Try to eject before hitting the ground so you dont have to pay for crew replenishment. This is espessaly true for vehicles with a lot of crew like heavy bombers as it is 500 sl per crew member
Is there a way to eject/bail out deliberately? I assume there’s an unbound command in the controls options? Or is it what happens when you leave the plane before you hit the ground if the pilot isn’t dead?
does this still work even if my pilot smacks the ground at 500km/h and does the little falling over dying animation? I assume it would but it's Gaijin, you never know
1- dont auto refill ammo if your using non stock ammo 2- Cap point it gives alot of sl 3- Dying early is better because repair cost starts low on the match than it goes up every minute stops at original repair cost 4- dont get useless modifications Tbh thanks to the new economy changes are rarely loose sl even when i cant do anything in the match
Another great tip: disable automatic ammo purchasing. Whenever you unlock a new ammo for your tanks, you get a full pack (usually around 150) shells of the new ammo. If you have auto purchase on, the system will instantly buy you ammo after a match and you won't actually use anything from the storage. With high tier tanks, you pay about 200 SL per dart, so you can save a lot by just using up the ones you get for free from the modification, and buying new ones when you are out. Also you get to notice that some SPAA belts are ridiculously expensive and you can decide if it's worth the SL or not for yourself.
@@HeliBoyVRYou only have to buy ammo for tanks that you are playing a lot, and you can clearly see when it gets low (the proporion of the slider increases when you go into battle). I don't understand what's so difficult about that.
@@benbased7740 You don't SAVE any money, you just delay spending it. After a year you might have 'saved' 50k in ammo rebuys, but earned 50m SL from playing... that's only 0.1%... and over the next year you'll rebuy that ammo anyway. 50k SL is ONE game... this is a waste of my time.... enjoy your mini quartermaster game :p
The real easy SL game is to either buy a premium bomber or if your free to play just use a good fast bomber and bomb bases it’s boring but very consistent and can lead to very significant SL gains I have lots of premium vehicles but the thing that has earned me the most SL is the F4C
Thanks Tankenstein! One more I thought of is waiting until the vehicle is fully repaired to purchase new/unlocked mods; otherwise it will charge you for the repair AND mod price, but it doesn't say that when asking if you would like to purchase the new mods. It only gives price of mods. Very sneaky.....
tip for modes with respawns - using a backup removes the repair cost of your vehicle of the first vehicle lost. this is especially useful in high tier naval where you can respawn a battleship and not pay the insane repair cost, assuming the ship wasn't lost twice in the battle
I'd say there's a bit of an asterisk in Air AB on 5.2 - not raising a crew to expert unless you have a good reason. I don't know about Air RB, but unless you know once your done with a plane you will never touch it again in a 1000 years, it makes a huge difference, especially then trying to get the XP for Ace (unless you really want it bad enough to buy it). Right now I'm grinding camo's on rank III and lower so when I need to burn some warbonds - I get the camo's you can't unlock (or some of the more insane ones like destroy 200 ships when it won't give you maps with any or bomb bases in a BR that doesn't seem to have that mode anymore) as well as build up SL to have for sales on higher rank vehicles and all. My 109F-4 with the Expert crew - that's 8 seconds off the reload time of the cannons, 3 seconds off the MG's, 20% less chance of weapon jam on overheat, 60% more pilot vitality, and various increases to line of sight/out of sight spotting. And believe me - those differences can be the difference between being fine or able to limp back to the airfield with a kill or two, and having to bail out with almost no score or less than you would have had. Don't get me wrong, especially at the higher BR's where it's near a million or over it - 100% be more careful or plan ahead to have it (cause it can also make a grind a little less painful) and odds are you know what your gonna fly more and what you never want to use again, but especially at lower tiers, where it's way easier to just print credits, especially in warbond bought premiums/BP rewards, odds are you'll make back the 1000-50k in no time. But maybe that's just me
What I do for auto repair is I leave it on because I have a premium account, then for the last match of the day I turn it off and then turn it on again before I start my next match the day after
The sales are nice, especially for someone like me who spades every vehicle, because not only do they apply to the initial purchase price, they also apply to modification prices as well, of which start to get pretty damn expensive from Rank IV onwards. I have like thirty vehicles that are researched but not purchased, so it's nice to get a discount every once in a while.

On extremely expensive to repair (mostly ships )there is a trick to not have to pay for repair and that is respawn the same vehicle and don't let that one die in the game.
Even with my 124 million SL, this video reminded me of some tips I'd forgotten back in 2015 trying to not be a constant victim. An advanced tip: Once you have a good cushion of SL, don't be afraid to spend SL to get the Daily tasks you Can complete. You can spend increasing amounts to get one that suits. Don't spend GE though. And accept that: when the Snail wants to screw you, the Snail will put its fist into the algorithm to get what it wants, RnG be damned😢.
Ultimate Matchmaking Tip: any time you switch lineups or even more likely on switching nations, you will enter the next game 50-75% of the time on an uptier. @@bobt2094 I know what to use, I just keep running into people who apparently don't and ask in game. APHE is USUALLY a solid bet, however, there are still plenty of exceptions, even for Germany (I'm a German main): StuG III A, StuH 42, Short-barreled Pz IVs, etc... Then there's the option of additional ammunition, such as APCR for really hard targets, or HE for soft targets, and whether or not it's worth it to carry either based on your main round's effectiveness or your playstyle. APHE is the easy beginner's answer, but the advanced answer requires a lot more in-depth and specific knowledge.
Removing boosters is a terrible idea for 99% of planes. I don't advise removing performance enhancing mods to save SL in general because... your performance and therefore your rewards will suffer. The rest of this is very good advice.

Well you got to play every other nation too. All bullshite. Last I played I needed at least to rotate between 3 nations….15 day repair times…. Fuck off lol
turn Auto Repair off only works if u dont play only 1 list. and if u are not so lucky in game and have an premim account you can lose SL in game. if u have auto repair on you cant lose SL in game at all... not a smart advice if given without context...
Is stupid how just having a premm acc makes this video next to useless, dont get me wrong, i do half of this tips, but in a normal lose battle, is from 60k to 100k SL
It's weird watching videos like this when you're never hurting for SL but it's crazy to know some of ya'll are out here worrying about ammo and modification repair costs
You forgot one more tip .... don't use the British.... Gaijin hate the british and it shows... constant uptiers/ AP nerfs and unfair br ratings .... stick to russian bias you can clearly see Gaijins love for anything russian.

how to earn silver lion ?
don't have skill issues
Play air arcade, you either die fast enough to not pay full repair cost or you live long and prosper
-Played- Worked for 3h 15m and made around 600k SL. It will be a while until I am back to 16 million. But the Boxes were worth it to me.
What did you get?
Orders and boosters lmao
So don't auto repair 😂 okay I'll get to play in 5 days 😂
Play lower tier
The best way to make silver lions is to play what you don’t want to play.
You’d like to play tanks? Alright we’ll your gona have to play planes for a bit too, oh you wanna play Germany? Well you got to play every other nation too.
All bullshite.
Last I played I needed at least to rotate between 3 nations….15 day repair times…. Fuck off lol
give a list of saving sl tips
proceed to money sink into loot boxes
🤣
It’s GE I need. Im patient and I can earn SL over time. 😂😂
turn Auto Repair off only works if u dont play only 1 list. and if u are not so lucky in game and have an premim account you can lose SL in game. if u have auto repair on you cant lose SL in game at all... not a smart advice if given without context...
Is stupid how just having a premm acc makes this video next to useless, dont get me wrong, i do half of this tips, but in a normal lose battle, is from 60k to 100k SL
That chatgpt, script in the beginning
Ultimate tip buy russian premium as intended by devs
We FiXeD tHe EcONomY
Well Time to Play stock only and save a lot of money 😂
If xm1 is ur best tank ur in trouble 😂
Xm1 rip. Abrams rip. T29 is okay but if you play US top tier to farm SL your doing it hard mode
Who plays naval ?
Hellooo
Save sl ? I just spent milions on some cases that didnt drop shit :))))
This being a necessity is a headache.
It's weird watching videos like this when you're never hurting for SL but it's crazy to know some of ya'll are out here worrying about ammo and modification repair costs
Hi
Best way to save SL?
*Don't play the game in the first place.*
You forgot one more tip .... don't use the British.... Gaijin hate the british and it shows... constant uptiers/ AP nerfs and unfair br ratings .... stick to russian bias you can clearly see Gaijins love for anything russian.
Ultimate tip is to NOT gamble...
Wrong. Ultimate tip buy russian premium with pepegacredits
PLAY FOR FREEEEEEEE
holy shit these tips are useless...
GAME SUCKS. UPTIER ALL THE TIME 99 OUT OF 100
