I made a segmented bowl blank at home in my workshop using a piece of sycamore I milled up last year. Then I took a trip to see James and he turned the blank on his lathe. It was awesome to meet up in person and it was great fun to do some turning together. I brought my bowl gouge with me for James to try out and he picked it up super quickly considering he had never used one before.
