I have GOT to get up to Chicago, if possible see your shop and meet you two! If for some reason you are ever in Springfield, you have dinner and drinks coming on me! LOVE YOUR WORK!
A trick I do someitmes when the wood is sliding is give the glued surfaces a sprinkling of salt. Gives it a bit of grit while wet and the salt seems to harmlessly disolve.
I really like the accent strips you added in! I'm lazy and would have used the XCarve to do most of the routing portion. Have you ever tried that? Hope all is well there...
You can definitely do that and it would certainly be easier! We try to find multiple ways to do the same thing since not everyone has a CNC or laser. Plus, it’s always fun trying something new. 🤓
We’ve been trying to play with multiple ways to make the same thing with different tools. Honestly, our lathe is pretty small so I’m not even sure it would fit. 😂

For sure! We really appreciate it!

Great tip and it's so funny you say that because after I filmed this Chris asked why I didn't do that. I just completely forgot! :P
@@DashTenWorks You know what they say great Chris's think alike.
So if you two ever decide to offer classes, I know a local amateur woodworker that would be interested so she could up her business game… 🙃
We’ve been talking about it but first we have to find a larger space. 😁

Chris we need to get you turning on a lathe. That chiseling and sanding would have taken half the time.

@@DashTenWorks Next time your in Cleveland I will let Chris use my big lathe... This is Bill by the way
@@impulse0341 Sounds like a plan!
Oh, my. You have big bowls.
👍
Forstner bit might/ will work better then your chisel method. Just a thought
