Good stuff: - Triple H and Rey as iron men. Rey sets the record here, which still stands for 30-men rumbles - RVD in the final four. Even though he's awkward in most of his rumble matches, finishing final four is usually a sign of things to come and it helped set up his MITB win and WWE title win. - Lashley eliminating Sylvan - Taker missing his third rumble match in a row (!) plays nicely into the 2007 rumble where he enters 30th and wins - Directly setting up Taker vs Kurt Angle and putting us on the path to Edge vs Mick Foley Bad stuff: - WWE ending Edge's reign so quickly. Many people remember the live sex celebration, but Edge also had a great TLC match with Ric Flair (!) on Raw during his reign. - Not only did Edge lose 100% clean, he had to tap out to Cena's pathetic STF. Same goes for Triple H at Mania 22, HBK at Mania 23 and many others. Ugh. - Basically everything else too. This was the second PPV I ever watched a movie theatre, but if you had asked me before the video what matches were on the card apart from the rumble and Cena vs Edge, what the main event was and who Kurt Angle faced, I'd have gotten them all wrong.

I think the shining wizard is more of a step up knee enziguri than a V-trigger which is more of a jumping bicycle knee. One of my favorite moves of all time.

Yeah WWE does a lot of things they done before, but switched it up. See when Shawn Micheals draw 1 and British Bulldog 2 and they last the other 28 man. Then Shawn throws out British. When British thought he was the last one. Now this one Rey throws out HHH and then Eliminates Randy number 30. Almost the same but a different out come.
Suggestion with this last rumble talking about forbidden doors, do the original forbidden door ppv starcade 95 new Japan vs WCW I remember it being pretty good.

I believe this is the first and only time 2 olympians competed against each other in the WWE and since it was 10 years since they were in the Olympics, it made since to main event them that night 🤔

I bet if someone like Sasha Banks or Naomi won the Women's Royal Rumble and someone like Randy Orton, Riddle, or AJ Styles won the Men's Royal Rumble people would saying that it was a great Royal Rumble.

I loved this show at the time but the part where rey is all “eddie” like he was talkin to a dog that pissed on the carpet after he’d just cleaned it, always made me uncomfortable even as a kid because it felt really forced when everyone knows about it being scripted it seemed cheesy to be all “eddie’s playing a prank from behind the grave” but at the same time they are highly religious and i guess everyone wanted to believe eddie’s spirit was still out there watchin over everyone so it was kinda sweet, rey’s acting just didnt sell it for me, anyone agree
