Undertaker vs Kurt Angle is underrated and an absolute classic.
Sadly no one seems to remember this classic ... Only if it happened at mania with Undertaker winning

Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker was further proof why they are amongst two of the greatest wrestlers of all time.
That Angle vs. Undertaker match is criminally underrated. One of the best matches in both guy’s careers.
Definitely an outstanding main event, Kurt Angle is a wrestling legend for sure

WWE Vengeance 2003, the SmackDown pay-per-view that was arguably better than that year's Wrestlemania 19.
Older shows would also be appreciated.
For Example: WCW Halloween Havok 1992 "Spin The Wheel-Make The Deal!" or Wrestlemania 5 Hogan Vs Savage.

I just watched this ppv 3 days ago. I was watching every ppv of 2006 cause that was an underrated year. I want to suggest survivor series 2008.
This was my first ppv that I ever went to, man this brings me back to the days and I had a blast and I’m so glad you reviewed this
I remember the Randy Orton/Rey Mysterio match the most from this PPV. Especially after the match when Orton yelled out “I am going to the main event of WrestleMania!” and then asked Rey “ Where are you going?”.

This was literally the Last WWE show I ever went to! Was a great night for sure! Wild to see this on the Retro Review!

Hell's Gate would still work as a finishing submission these days. I was always lowkey hoping The Fiend or Finn Balor would inherit it.

Taker v Angle is such an underrated match, powerhouse vs technician done better than one could have imagined. I know Angle didn't want to break the streak, but at least the 2 should have rematched at Mania to put on another classic with the Deadman getting the win.
Kurt Angle vs Undertaker: Underrated match of all time match got 4.00 stars from meltzer but In my opinion it's 4.75.... If this match happened at Wrestlemania with a clear result this could have become a 5 star match

I went to this show when I was 13 and the whole thing was awesome 🤩 I knew the main event was the greatest match I’d ever seen at the time but who knew it would be the legendary match it’s grown to be
The whole crowd lost their mind when Batista’s music hit, it was a great surprise

Actually, this was before Hell's Gate was a thing, this was like the progenitor of that
Before this, Undertaker wasn't really known as a submission guy at all, so when he started busting out that Triangle Choke out of nowhere, it made the match even cooler. It was like this was one of those matches where Undertaker got to show off just how good he was at actual wrestling.
It was after this that he started doing the Hell's Gate, when it looked like he was going for that Triangle Choke on Big Daddy V, but his neck was approximately thicker than a Sequoia tree, so he did that weird thing where he basically just pulled Big Daddy V's head into his shin, while Mark Henry screamed "YOU GONE TOO FAR DIS TIME DEAD MAN!!" and that was when the actual Hell's Gate was invented.

I dunno if I’m too late to add a suggestion but for next Retro Ups and Downs you should do the 08/24/09 episode of Raw where they celebrate Mr. McMahons’s birthday in Vegas. It’s the first live event I went to and it was a decent episode.

Weird watching a review from somebody who clearly didn’t watch the product during this time. Finlay always carried the shillelagh as a weapon. He didn’t randomly have it his one time instead of a chair or kendo stick.
I need to see simon's reaction to the Yeti at Halloween Havoc 1995 so that is my vote for the next show.
