Fantastic update sir. I’m really getting antsy about the 2024 release. I’m taking a sick day at work on 11/19 so I can spend the day getting it setup. I may be able to access 2024 at 10 PM on 11/18 if the nationwide release is based upon the Eastern Time Zone in the US. I live in the Mountain Time Zone which is 2 hours behind the Eastern Time Zone. Thanks for the great updates on 2024.
I think I'm gonna wait a couple years to make the switch from 2020. I know there's going to be a ton of bugs in MSFS2024 that will take forever to work out. Might be cheaper by then too. MSFS2020 works great for me now; I just got it right.

People rushing out to buy this straight away are mad. So much missing from FS 2024, that it's not worth buying yet. I am going to give it six months before I look at purchasing it, then hopefully more of the SIM will be included. Along with that, any bugs will be detected, and more third party content will be available, and the price will fall. Also as a PC enthusiast I build my own PC, and any members of my family, I will be waiting to see what the new 50 series GPUs are going to be available, for my new FS 2024 build.
Funny Aerosoft is going to release that absolute dumpster fire with little to no advertising in development since the "preview" so to speak. I think a company is going to need a new marketing team.
Scenery and airports? Agreed. There is no difference. Aircraft? No. To use 2024 specific features, and to have the aircraft not simulated in legacy mode, they will need engineers to go back to the drawing board. That is not free. I would expect that to cost something.
They spent at least 4 years to make it on a game engine that already were developed. If FS 2020 didn't exist, it would probably take 6-8 years to make 2024 version including game engine. It's not a simple upgrade... Meanwhile 10's of millions buy the new Call of Duty every year, and online is mostly the same...

What do you mean? The glass cockpit version with the G1000? Because it's not touch screens.
Touch screens on PC were never a standard ever. Even VR headsets have a huge market share compared to touch screens.
172 uses a g1000, not a touch screen, buttons in a line at the bottom
