YES, finally they take advantage of improved multithreading
Currently on an RTX3080ti and Ryzen 7 5800x, my sim was so laggy until i used lossless scaling. Now I have 120fps and its insane
Reduce level of detail and terrain, that should do magic
Agreed, 120 fps is insane, because it's completely unnecessary to be that high.
For me its FrameGen. 120fps and i dont regret it.
Nice! Do you think the lossless scaling would help me as I’m on a 3060ti? I’ve been a bit skeptical
I also have the RTX3080ti and Ryzen 7 5800x, and still, I somehow manage to get 20 fps on low graphics.
I do like how Microsoft's direct statement from the developers that the minimum specs would be the same as 2020 was A COMPLETE LIE.
My PC sits midway between "recommended" and "ideal" specs for 2020. However, it sits midway between "minimum" and "recommended" for 2024.
9min 22 sec - specs
lmao
You weren't invited to the event?
0:22 cars going through water excellent graphics.
You do know that's not MSFS 2024 right? It's 2020
@@Nicholas.AAre you sure? I see a banner attached to the plane 0:15 (aerial advertisement) and as far as I know it’s a 2024 feature but I might be wrong.
@@emirberkcatalpnar5325 there is a mod you can get an the store its around 15$
Its the 2024. They still have These bridge issues@@Nicholas.A
64gb of RAM 😮
Jokes on you, i don't have a pc or xbox
Currently have a R5 3600 + RX5600XT
Thinking of getting a R7 5700X3D, hoping to play at medium 30-45 FPS at 1080P
Later on, maybe a 4070, but that's a long way
the internet speed fks me up though
The specs are better than I was expecting. I either land exactly on recommended or above it for all categories, so that's okay even though they're likely exaggerated a bit. I also only need 1080p and 30fps is fine for flying IMO. If I get more fps then great, if not then not an issue.
7800x3d, 32gb 6000mhz ram, 990 ssd and 7900gre is my system. So ideal spec for me which is fine. I don't need extreme graphics

I'm on the low side of things. I7-7700K 1070, and 32gig of ram. I have been wanting to build a new system, but money is just not there right now. I am hoping early next year. I did pre-order anyway.
Thanks for the rundown on PC specs - very useful.
Just a minor point. Bandwidth is specified as megabits per second, not megabytes per second. Mbps=megabits/sec, MBps=megabytes/sec.
i'll be between minimum and recommended specs, sitting on low settings with lossless scaling, and I'll be happy.
Why would current series X players need to buy a new series X ? Or maybe you meant to say current Series S players should Upgrade to Series X ?
just bought a ram upgrade, 32gm to 64, lucky for me my pc is quite old (still more then good enough to run anything i wanna run so the ram was cheap, $200 for the twin 32gb sticks. Might throw a 2nd kit in it next payday (128 total) dont need 128 but for the cost, why not :)
I’m building a PC with a 4070ti super and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and 64GB of Ram. I hope that will run MSFS 2024 decently.
Those specs should be fine, but good luck getting a 7800X3D if you don't already have one. They're currently sold out.
Wow i am really impressed how you can support websites like this apex stuff. Everyone who knows a bit of PCs is getting headaches at those prices. I mean, which Simulator do you want them to play after paying 2000$+ for a PC from APEX? Roblox? Mann I really like your content but that is cruel imo.
I’m confused so if you’re playing MFS on a series X you need a new one, but if you have an S you don’t need A new one or do you?
Dear Aus Flight Simmer, I currently have an Xbox Series S for 2020 version. You mentioned that we may need a new console, do you know why that is? My plan was to simply uninstall the 2020 version and install 2024 on it. Wouldn't that work fine? I only have one or two other smaller games on the machine, otherwise it is exclusively for Flight Sim. Please advise, thanks in advance.
Ag-flyging in the new sim! any word if an Ag-GPS is modelled into the (24) sim. Like a TRACMAP, TRIMBLE or SATLOC?
I have never been more happy for my gigabit (up and down) internet for $53.99/month.
I doubt most of us are not running 64MB of RAM and getting a matching set of my 32MB RAM is $217usd. That is crazy
Correct. Most of us are def not running on 64 MB of RAM.
I read the 64GB recommended for 'preferred' and thought it a little strange. I shall wait till it's loaded up on my current 32GB system and see if all current memory is actually being used. All my other system specs are covered (7800X3D/4080Super/DDR5-6000) so if it's only a ram increase required I won't quibble over that.
My CPU is my only not so good part of my system. It is an i7 7700k. It runs my MSFS 2020 with my 3090 card an an average of 60-70FPS with Ultra settings on a single 2K monitor.
Are geoforce rtx graphics cards by nividia supported and is overclocking supported
My current PC is an intel core i5-10th gen, 16GB RAM, windows 11, RTX 3050; little worried abt downloading MFS2024 on it 😬
I think my biggest problem will be internet connection tbh as I live in a fairly rural area of the UK
I've heard you can download the content instead of streaming it. I'm in a similar scenario but if this is the case all should be fine, aside from total download time of course.
When FS2024 comes out if you do not have enough memory is it better to delete FS2020 before or after Fs2024 goes live ?
I got a i9 12900k and 7900xt I'm not sure I'm in the ideal spec
Did they fix the frame rate stutter
Yes or no
Love the videos typically. But I'm confused on the xbox specifications. It made it sound like xbox players have to get a new console. But the console options that you said, are likely the current one's most xbox players have. Could you please clarify what you are saying?
I'm not on Xbox but to me he's saying you need a Series X, any lesser console else won't be enough.
do yall think an I5 9400F and a rtx 4060 would do it?
Will a rtx 4060 and a ryzen 7 5800x work well
64gb of ram that’s crazy!
Yes but not at ultra settings- i think
On the website of fs2024 they say it was build for xbox x, series and pc. I use the xbox x series.
I have a computer that takes 10 mins to open and 5 mins to open Chrome alone. It crashes when you leave it for 30 mins and restarts on its own. Do you think I can purchase this game and run it well?
Try it on game pass
its gunna need double my pc specs lol
vFlyteAir jumping ship as well? :'( Ah well, love their products, I hope that they continue developing for xplane as well.
Guys i have a laptop with i7 10750h and 1660 ti. Msfs 2020 runs no problem at med/high preset, do you think it's enough for msfs 2024?
Not even close im affraid...
Is my i511400F, 3060, 16gb of ram gonna die trying to play this?
I hope this will work. I have a i9 13900k and rtx 4070ti and mem at 32gb at 7400mt/s
You should be in the middle of the ideal n recommendations spec you're fine
will a 5800x 3d be good
well, to answer the title-question: no.
I think xbox will struggle all they spoke about was pc nothing on xbox.
I have the Xbox series S how will that run it
Im buying a new pc for this game 😬
I have been warned about some of them and taken the advise.
I don’t think I will buy 2024.
I am happy with 2020.
I will buy the 2032 version
is it better to take 32 RAM or 48 OR 32GB its ok for msfs 2024?
32 gigs of ram is ok but it mainly depends on your cpu as its a very cpu heavy game
@@Kiwiaviatornz i have 7800x3d and 4070ti super
7:20 Wait I'm confused. (I am an Xbox pilot, for context, playing on an Xbox series X) Why do I need to buy a new console to run the new sim?
I have the rtx 3070 and an i7 11700f will it run msfs 2024 good?
Probably, it will just be limited by the CPU.
I will be going back to FSX
I'm on xbox can I just add more giga bit to my current xbox
According to the specs this is based on Windows 10 are Microsoft and Asobo not aware of Windows 11?
Windows 10 and up is great. I believe the reason they are saying Windows 10 is to show that you cannot be lower then Windows 10
@@AirplaneModeIsOn That's exactly how I read it. It's the minimum required.
OK cheers for clearing that up, Windows 10 support ends next year so I can’t see many PCs still using it.
DLSS3 and DX12with Nvidia? Yeah I´m sure I´ll be fine with 11900K 32gb ram and a 4090 OC24
What about the xbox series x? Low graphics 30 fps...?
It says up to 120 FPS in the description so who knows!
Judging on nasa spec pc recommended this is 720p or lower on xbox
can't change graphics on xbox it is fixed to medium I think
4080 is fine , may need to finally get star link and F telstra off
I am not buying a whole new Xbox just for 2024
Which begs the question: how well is it actually gonna run on Xbox?
I think the team will optimize it to run as good as possible on Xbox, but I'm still confused on why I need to buy a new console as he said at 7:20
Ok so I just looked up the Xbox series X specs, and the Xbox series X is well over the ideal specs, so it should run perfectly fine. The Xbox series S, however, doesn't even fit the minimal Ram requirement, at 10 Gbs, so the Xbox series S may and will encounter problems, unless the team does something to make it work. But if the team doesn't, then I'm sorry but it might not work that well.
My pc has a Ryzen 7800X3D, EVGA 3070Ti FTW3 and 32gb 6000mhz ram running high settings 1440p res, DLSS on quality, i already get excellent fps in the 2020 sim around 120 fps in not so busy areas and around 55 to 65fps in more busy areas, i don’t doubt ill get excellent fps in the 2024 sim with the new DX12 and multi thread support!
In 2023 my pc cost around $1600 USD in hardware, i assembled myself.
With my 4080s and 40fps in fs2020 I have no hope for the new sim and no need to spend another huge amount of money for mostly a big update for msfs2020
