    Making the pickup blades and the fretboard inlays match is pretty much God Mode. Awesome.

      Thanks Chris. Even matched the angles, because why not!

    I really enjoyed this series. Currently buildind a Red Special as a first guitar, but may be my undoing!!!! Cheers.

    Really enjoying your videos. I’m starting the build journey myself and love some of the techniques you use in your creations. Incredibly creative.

    Design is everything - plan, fit and design elements come together in subtle shape...
    A very fine instrument - well done!

      Thanks Mike. It was a challenge to get the features balanced, but I’m very pleased with the result.

    Great job and great video!
    I made my homemade Tele about a year ago.
    It's a 30in. scale baritone.
    Pearl Green Appleburst over Pearl Gold on the front.
    Pearl Eggplant Purple on the back.
    2-ply *polished aluminum* strip binding secured w/screws
    DiMarzio Vai Evolution Pickups
    Babicz Bridge
    Hipshot Tuners
    CTS Push- Pulls
    I've got a short display video on my YT page/channel.
    It's the one called Tele-Baller BootyCaster.

    I just don’t like fretboard inlays… except for these. These inlays are exquisite and I love them !

    This guitar does it for me. Tele and the minimalism.. And the control knobs 😋
    I'm going to put these on My guitar (and keep them on the top so they can be operated with one finger whilst playing).. 👍

    Terrific result. Love the inlay at 12th reflecting the pickup blades.
    I'd never find the pot in a live setting though lol

      Thanks Graham. A bit of muscle memory retraining might be needed for a quick change, but it actually becomes intuitive reasonably easily.

    That looks great! I liked the little jig you use to hang it whilst drying. Might have to steal that idea - last time I used the washing line which was not ideal.

    • @adairguitars
      @adairguitars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! It’s a handy little frame. I should probably make it a bit taller so I can hang up necks as well.

    Beautiful, what are the materials used?

    • @adairguitars
      @adairguitars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks. Which materials do you mean? If it’s the wood, the body and neck is Silver Quandong and the fretboard is Granadilo.
