Hey, I know this is a super tall ask, but if you could possibly use this program to walk through a wiring diagram on why it works/how you think about it, I'd sooo appreciate it (because I can't find anyyyyone talking about wiring like it anywhere n I'm a newbie). It uses 2 humbuckers, 2 push/pull pots, and a 5 way superswitch (was looking for a setup that used all of these and this was the SINGLE diagram I could find anywhere that utilized all of them!); it's series/parallel for the push/pulls, and pos2/4 of the 5 way is inner/outer coils (at least, I think that's what it's called? Like, if the pole order is screw/slug - slug/screw, it's just screw coils and just slug coils- not sure if that's exactly what the "inner/outer" configuration means haha). I've read n watched quite a bit of "beginner guitar wiring" tutorials now, but I'm still pretty confused with it, particularly because it uses a magnet flip and the wiring is seemingly flipped on one side. I know this has to do with the hum-cancelling, but I still dont fully "get" it (id go more in detail on why, but obviously this is getting way too long lol). Again, I know this is a tall ask so feel free to totally ignore this lol, but if you do decide that you'd want to do it I can send you the diagram (however), or you can try finding it on google images, via searching "2 humbuckers with 5 way switch pinterest". Sorry for typing an essay!

Oh thats a handy dandy little organizer. My friend got me something similar back when I was building race drones. that was made of silicon so it it burn resistant but grippy to keep things from sliding around or screws rolling off the work bench.

You can save (lots of) money by buying the better tool before the cheap tool that you will need to replace faster and might give your less dependable results. Justmy 2 cents ;)

I have a question.. do you drill your bridge holes exactly at the scale line of slightly before or after?

How do you adjust the truss rod on this guitar? Do you need to remove the neck to adjust it?

Very good idea. One block and easy to store when it's not needed. It's a;so a neat idea of clamping it in the tray while cutting the tube sections to catch the pieces after they are cut. Instead of having to chase them down and having them bounce on to the floor.

If you were doing this to a squire or other entry level instrument, go for it. I’m all in for that. A Kiesel is a different story. If you were just going to change the finish I guess I’d still be on board. This was totally unneeded for such a high quality instrument. And to top it off you put your own logo on and try to pass it off as your own work? I’m no purist but this is beyond the pale.

I'm currently 6 minutes into the video, and I have to say I think the guitar will look better with a natural finish (compared to its original paint), or with stain.

Fascinating Arran. And, as an owner of an Adair Guitar, I know its worth - way more than the sum of its parts. In fact, it's priceless. With this mod, Arran has added something which is impossible to define as only the player, the owner, can truly appreciate the quality.

Podría tener todas las herramientas y sinceramente no haría nada porque no tengo la habilidad ni el conocimiento, tu habilidad no esta en discusión, pero si se sobre el uso del instrumento y creo que a pesar de tu increíble trabajo en modificar la guitarra puedo decirte que ahora la guitarra es menos versátil . La mejor configuración sería HSS pero ahora en mi caso como guitarrista no le veo mejora. Tal vez si hubieses puesto HSH o HSS pero bueno igualmente un trabajo impecable.

"better" is subjective. It pains me to see you take something someone has spent time and effort on and destroy it when you've made some excellent guitars from scratch. ☹️

So, basically, you turned an expensive Kiesel guiter into chep no name. Maybe selling it and buying another one would be a better decision?...

In the end, Barney the Dinosaur was recycled into a guitar. Excellent mod.

And in case anyone is wondering… the plan has changed again for the switching (for the moment 😅) Currently it has a 4 way switch: 1 Direct out 2 Volume only 3 Volume and tone 4 Killswitch It’ll likely get changed to Esquire wiring plus the killswitch though. The direct is a little too in your face without the volume pot in the circuit, and the fixed tone will be the quasi-humbucker setting, rather than the full cocked wah effect. Fun times!
