      Mr. Rene Filho
      Thank you for watching my video.
      ARIGATOU!
      So you live in Nagano!
      I think Nagano is one of the most wonderful areas in Japan with rich nature. I think Nagano is one of the most beautiful and natural areas in Japan. It may be a harsh environment during the winter, but from spring to autumn it is full of beautiful Japanese scenery.
      If I could, I would like to live in Nagano too, but I have a mother with dementia, so I will continue to live in Aichi Prefecture with her for a while.
      I hope that Mr. Rene Filho will continue to love Japan, become interested in Japanese culture, and spend as much time as possible in Japan.

      @@OTAHMGKouBou Dear Mr. Ota sama,
      Thank you for your kindness in replying.
      I've been in Japan since 2016 and live with my wife and daughter in Suwa shi near Suwa Lake. It really is a very beautiful place but winter causes me some problems. Unfortunately this pandemic has deprived us of personal contact but, I still hope that one day I can do a jam session with Japanese friends ! Elvis Presley and country music are the main styles I develop as a vocalist and guitarist. I hope that one day we can meet and talk about guitars and music, Greetings ..Nice to meet you ! Wow what a beautiful project! Only thing is I would recommend trying titebond 2 or titebond 3 for a stronger hold. The "original" is not very strong over long periods.. also 2 and 3 are waterproof to protect against moisture.

    Wow. You are running an old classic Jazz Chorus amp. I think by Roland. I have not seen or heard one in years. And I have never heard one do distortion that sounds anywhere near as good as yours does with that guitar on the harmony swells. Those Jazz Chorus amps can have the best clean tone ever, when you want sparkling clean. They sparkle.

    Nice work. I have to say I've never been a fan of Pau Ferro fretboards, they always looked like rosewood that's been left out in the Arizona desert for 5 years and is in desperate need of moisture treatment. But you got so polished that it almost looks like it's been lacquered and buffed glossy, and it's looks great. I'm surprised with all the work that's gone into it that you want with no name pickups and hardware, it's like putting bumper stickers on a Bentley.
    I'd been doing refrets without a jig for years, what a difference it makes once I started using one.

  • @ayersbiz6458

    Nice guitar but, but, but,.... always use the shield tape for pickups and humming purposes, a must.

    • @OTAHMGKouBou
      @OTAHMGKouBou  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only we would like to talk on the assumption that my thinking.
      I'm We believe when the shielding of the pickup is not always necessary.
      I do not like to treble of the guitar will be suppressed by the shielding.
      So I always finish it without shielding at first.
      If it is too noisy, we will do it later.
      The pickups used in this guitar are humbucking, so they tend to be less noisy. Therefore, this time, the shielding work was postponed.
      thank you for the advice!
      I am very glad your thoughtfulness.

I always questioned myself why Fender doesn't make it that way because it is much better when the volume control is first in line, it is much more accessible that way, so I always reverse it on my Telecasters. Impressive build! Love the way you’ve developed jigs and processes to build the whole guitar using power tools. Seems like a better to get consistent guitar builds. And you can definitely power some t-style builds out that way. That said my mind won’t let me stop thinking it’s cheating to use the power tools. Even though I just said it takes skills to create the jigs etc. Must be the German in me. Nice work.

    U got a pick guard for a humbucker tele bridge which is a little wider.. u don’t have a humbucker bridge tho so there is a gap on the side of the bridge and the pickguard. I’d change that.. looks cheesy

    Super! A question please, do you shield your single coil guitars with copper tape-foil or it’s not necessary? Thank you 😊

    • @OTAHMGKouBou
      @OTAHMGKouBou  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's just my way of thinking, but I don't necessarily see the need for Shielding.
      The reason is that it changes the tendency of the sound of the pickup.
      I use inexpensive pickups in this guitar, but if you use expensive and unique pickups, it is even more important.
      That's why I finish the guitar without Shielding it first.
      Then, depending on how the guitar will be used, I will consider Shielding it or not.
      Thank you very much.

    Can you imagine being able to do what this guy did. This guy could live in the woods, ...with some power tools, and electricity, ...and few extra parts, and come out with a Telecaster, made from his bare hands. Think about how powerful that would be to be able to do that. No more shopping for guitars.

    in Italy they build guitar body whit wood of old briccole from the venetian lagoon, recycled in larch or chesnut. The briccole are poles used to moor boats and delimit navigable canals... Ciao from Italy
