Making a telecaster thats chambered with spalted elm. Salvaged from a dead elm that suffered from dutch elm disease. A pretty involved build that used rhino cad, a DIY CNC machine and home made pickups.

Where do you guys find the time to be great musicians, songwriters and carpenters??? As advanced as you guys are on your musical instruments & vocals it seems like to have come that far it would've consumed every waking hour...and now I see you're also great with woodwork and electronics...??? I'm impressed!

Way cool. Love the finish. It really brought out the grain in the wood. All of the chrome gives an industrial look to it, like it was a machine, which isn’t too far from the intended use.

You are getting tiny droplets of clear onto everything!!! Respirator!!!!!! save yer lungs! I used to airbrush some and it's more fun to just start spraying paint onto shirts and canvases but that stuff FLOATS and you do inhale a good bit of it. Don't wear a mask, spray that stuff then go pick your nose and see what you get! haha so.... Dutch Elm Disease by the Beetles
    (Lenin/Mc Artney)
    I once had a burl
    Or should I say
    It eluded me
But then, down came a tree
    By more than a breeze
    Dutch Elm Disease
I went to the workshop to ponder and had an idea
Ran out in the yard to find beetles devouring that tree
    Oh wow wow woweee
    I took it inside
    made it some tea
    (that confused Betty Lee)
    I chopped up the wood
    sawed, planed and squeezed
    Isn't it good
    Dutch Elm Disease
Betty Lee knitted mittens while I carefully crafted a top
To adorn that ol' Tele with chambers and 'buckers and pots
    That turned out quite nice
    Betty said, between fries
    Who'd a thunk, jeeze
    Dutch Elm Disease
