You will not need a $300 jacket. I am Canadian and do not even know anyone who owns a $300 jacket. Layers are the answer. Bra, undershirt, sweater and jacket/coat is enough. Socks, undies, leotard, pants and skirt for the really cold days. Hat, warm boots and mittens are necessities. Warm scarf is a good idea too. And good warm coats and jackets for cheap can be found at second-hand stores like Value Village, Goodwill etc.

    Hello,
I am a skilled worker holding a work permit in Canada, and i already applied for PR application thru TR-PR Pathway including my wife as dependent.
Because we doesn't heard any feedback in our PR application after we submitted some correction of documents for 6months, were planning to apply my wife in different program to come to Canada.
Can my wife still allowed to apply for Spouse Open Work Permit Outside Canada, while our Permanent Resident application is on process?
And can it be affect in our PR application approval when she applied for Spouse Open Work Permit?

POF means "CASH FUNDS" available anytime. Liquid funds. Anything not cash, it will fall into your home tie as an investment.

Hello very informative. I would like to check once am in Canada as an international student (applying on SDS), how much is the proof of funds to show for spouse open work permit and 4 minor kids?
What is the amount we need to show in bank account as well as we can also show valuation of assets?

      Hi,
I am not exactly sure what that is.
But in general, the proof of funds, if financial should be as liquid as possible.

      Hi,
Always depends on the specific case and the visa officer. I general yes, he can sponsor you. Make sure you explain well in the LOE why and how he will support you, have all the proof, bank statements, proof of employment etc.
Not sure what you meant with the tourist visa

Paano po yung sa proof of funds po if let say tuition is 15k cad a year then plus 10,000 cad for student plus 4,000 cad para sa partner (common law partner) for cost of living.
Sabihin na natin 1.5M pesos lahat po yung peso equivalent ng required proof of fund.
Let say nabayaran ko na yung 1st sem or 1 year tuition fee so magkakaroon ako ng resibo for the payment I made, yung resibo na bana iyon is pwedeng maging proof of fund as part ng 1.5 m na required? Oh yung 1.5 m is dapat cash in bank lang talaga?
Hindi po ba pwedeng yung 1.5 M is in the form of the following:
1.share of stock investment for showmoney(readily convertible into cash naman agad) worth 500k (nakapanganlan sa common law partner)
2.affidavit of support na may 2 sponsor na may 3M in total ( both sponsor is kapatid ng common law partner ko na nasa USA)
    3. Land or Condo tittle worth 3 M (nakapangalan sa common law partner) and this is the condo na tinitirahan namin.
    Thanks
