I withdrawn from the school that gave me admission to come to Canada and have now applied to a new school and will be starting in January winter intake 2024.
What are my chances for applying SOWP for my wife and my 2 children to join me when school started?
Is it going to affect me because I didn’t start school the very day I got here???
And do I have to explain why I didn’t start the school the very day I came to Canada??
the best thing to do is give them a detailed explanation of why you changed schools and why you didnt start early. once you explain that, then you should be in a better position

I have a question.
My wife i want to me to join her in Canada. She has study and work permit and she wants me to join her there.
The question is , will she use her own IRCC portal to apply open work permit for me or will i use her IRCC portal to apply or will i need to apply it by creating my own IRCC account?
She said that it is possible to apply SOWP through her own IRCC portal. Please Clarify

i would advise you create an account for yourself and do the application because you will surely need an account for future applications.

We recently discovered that im pregnant and we dont know whether we should both apply for student visa separately or spousal visa

Hi I want to apply for a Spousal Open Work Permit to join my common law partner that’s already on a study visa in Canada. Do I need to still upload pictures with my own family back in my country to show family ties?
Also I’m currently working remotely for a company in the US(not my country or place of residence) so I’ll be showing POF and explaining that. Do you think this could be a problem? That I’m already working and may not return because it’s remote work? Or the Taxes I may not be paying because of remote work?
Do you also think my partner and I should both show POF?

anything at all that can tie you back home so yes family pictures with right description.
working remotely shouldnt be a problem cos you are still in ghana. using common law, you really have to show things that bind you and your partner, like bills paid together, ownership of properties together. you can use your own pof or you can let your partner add hers too to yours, either way is cool.

Please I saw on their website that tuition for msc programs are around 1000 to 2000 CAD.But for course base masters there is a special fee.Oil and gas for example is around 16282 CAD.Did you pay something like that,please help me out with this info because I'm a little confused.

Yeah you are legally married now you can applied for a Spousal Open Work permit.
My wife PGWP is left with 4 months to expire. Can she still invite me for visitor visa?
You can but It might be too late to apply for visitor because it may take a 2 months to come out. Maybe start working on PR application if you havent started
