    Love the camera views, my Tesla Y doesn’t have 360 or front. My 2019 Equinox did.

    Why is it blue inside, when the exterior is red? Weird.

      Funny I've made the same observation in other videos. They should have gone with a more neutral color for the accent like dark grey or light grey depending on the other interior colors.

    He took too long to get to the important numbers like Torric horsepower range and charging time. Those are the very first things people wanna know so get to it first. He also did not discuss if it’s qualifies for the full $7500 federal tax credit. he also did not mention if the charging port will change to NAC in 2025.

    I do like that the base model is FWD. I live in a northern city where we get a lot of snow in the winter. I never understood why nearly all the EVs were RWD based. There is no technical reason for it (other than perhaps wanting to market a frunk and forcing Northern customers to pay more for AWD.

    • @danheuser5148
      @danheuser5148 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can't speak from experience, but I've seen some claims that RWD EVs are good in the snow because of the weight distribution in EVs (compared to ICE cars) and because the motor can spin the wheels in a more precise way to maintain traction when accelerating. I have the same concerns as you though.

      Thanks for that comment. It would be a deal breaker for me if it didn't come to a complete stop with regen. I drive exclusively in one pedal in my BoltEV and really love that feature.

    This is the revolutionary mass adoption ev we've been waiting for. Market research has shown the stats required for over 50% ev adoption are over 300 miles of range, 30 minutes or less charging speed, and price under $36k. This is the first vehicle to hit those metrics.

      @@ProjectCovenant You have to take everything into context. (Price, style of vehicle, size of vehicle, room inside the vehicle, etc.) Range is more important to me. How much mileage does a Ionic 5 get at the lowest trim level....not the larger more expensive long range batteries. Equinox get's 319 EPA rated miles. Equinox will get you 77 miles in 10 minutes of charging. That is reasonably fast. 30 minutes for 10% -80%....and that's not bad IMO. And what Hyundai are you able to get for $38K (with rebate) with the room that you get in the Equinox.
      Do an apples to apple comparison. And by the end of the year you'll be able to get the Equinox 1LT trim for $27K (with rebate).

      The competitor to the Equinox is the upcoming Kia EV3, which is also a 400v architecture and takes a similar time to charge 10-80%.

    No CarPlay, no buy.

      @@Jetter638 Exactly, those brands can pull it off, GM can't.
      I actually own a R1T and I hate it doesn't have CarPlay, but the rest of the vehicle makes up for that. There is absolutely no way I would tolerate that for a freaking GM, Jeep or Ford vehicle.

    • @Jetter638
      @Jetter638 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@pepesilvia4564 And I'm just curious what exactly do you feel you are giving up by not having CarPlay?
      Will CarPlay give you accurate route planning for your car with options for charging stations, and real time estimates based on energy consumption of how much charge you will have when you arrive at each of the charging stations on your route? And how much time you will need to spend at each charger.
      From my perspective it seems that GM system seems to have everything I would want (real time route planning, Spotify access, Waze access, and access to all apps in the Google play stire) but maybe there is something that you need beyond that?
