Nah caught my first double digit large mouth at age 13 and haven’t caught one in 12 years since
I’ve been watching for 3 years and was shocked when he caught the 14 pounder. Seeing this made my heart jump in happiness seeing him re-complete a lifetime goal 3 times over. As always, keep fishing never stop, and I know I will, looking for a 10 of my own.

7:22 I actually am one of those guys that launches early. It’s just 10X easier to get in before everyone else shows up. Even if I have to sit on the boat for an hour and wait for sun up; just way less stressful without 20+ boats waiting for you to launch.

I always felt bad for him since a lot of people as children had caught better weight. He is on them now and its all the sweeter. Me my brother and my dad all had 10 pounders or better on book for multiple fish. My little brother caught a 10 pounder on his eighth birthday, for him it was like a whale.

I’d like to see you guys hit Norris lake in TN. It’s my home lake. Probably not going to catch 3 DD’s but I would like to see what y’all could pull out of there for sure. It’s by far toughest lake in the area followed by Cherokee. I’d even be interested in seeing what the pro’s could pull off. This past weekend we had a wildcat tournament. 30 boats and only 8 weighed any fish in at all. But they are there! It’s just super clear for the area, and very deep
I fished Norris on vacation a few years back and got absolutely skunked 3 days in a row. That place is tough!

I am always hesitant to pull out my boat and end up going a month without taking it out. After seeing these journeys that you take to fish when I have 3 lakes within 30 minutes of my house I get really motivated to just take the damn boat out.
The Saucy swimmers on the A-rig work amazing in the salt water too, catch tons of spotted bay bass and sand bass on them.
