5k is gonna be tough in 34 mins with no training but I think you got it. Best of Luck. Top Oct baits for me are flat worm, TRD, coffee tube, and maybe a chigger craw or 2.8" fat swing impact. I'm a finesse guy, like to keep it simple and go with what gets bites.
Follow the 15% rule as well. Try not to increase your mileage by more than 15% per week. I run marathons and you'll greatly reduce your injury risk by gradually increasing your distance (ask me how I know). Also, dont overdue the pace early on. Increase your pace or your distance. Not both at the same time if you're getting into running. Dont forget to have fun I assume youre fishing the Lake Erie Open? Ill be in the blue Basscat Cougar. Stop by and say hi.
Don’t beat yourself up if you don’t finish ahead of that time. Just finish then you’ll have a time to beat. I’ve sadly never caught a fish on a jig and very few on drop shot. Gotta try little generals. I can’t put down t-rig. Looking forward to the fall content. You gotta plug this channel to get you over the 1k hump.
Under 15 foot we can use 5 hooks so my setup is 1/4 ounce on bottom two and 3/16 ounce top two and center bait. Over 20’ i use 3/8 on the bottom two and 1/4 on the middle and top two!
Heard this guy has the juice!
Black jig with the Coppertreuse 🤤🤤
Money!

I’ll be training for sure! Ran my first mile today. Probably too fast but just under 10 minutes. Plan is to run 4 days a week until the 5k.
LOW KEY - I think Fluorescent Baits in Thumbnails is a TH-cam Hack!
Interesting thought for sure!

hello from Portugal.
I couldn't understand it well. What is the setup for Arig weights up to 15" and the other above 20" and more?

No chance you'll finish the 5k. Top water walking bait, willow leaf spinnerbait and single paddle tail swimmer 3.3 or 3.8 keitech on a 1/4 oz jig head
