I really appreciate your continued support.
Lived there for a while 35 years ago. Lights from the Victoria Ground would shine into my bedroom.
i worked in one of these houses back in 1992 (i still have a lovely ceramic tile i found in the garden) the Villas are an unexpected hidden gem of Stoke-on-Trent ❤
Wow ! Who’d have thought ! Will deffo have a drive down next time I’m passing
The house with the blue front door at 2.39- am sure we had an emergency call to a burst pipe there a few years back- had never been up that street before - they are beautiful inside
Well done. Well deserved
Your content is so interesting, informative and full of love for the area. ❤ xx
I’ve walked past this street countless times and I’ve always wondered about them so thank you for this!
Brilliant video.I had a American friend come over to visit us last year and this is one of the places I took him and his wife to sight see.I was just as in awe as they were (I live locally). The Villas is a wonderful and strange piece of history, slap bang in the middle of Stoke.
Why is the word "garlic" edited out?
Loving your history analysis of staffs as I’ve grown up Stafford,Cheadle, eccleshall, stoke. Born in longton now living in birches head thank you for all the nostalgia you provide me and many interesting facts I never knew of. Great videos 👍👀
I've not been in the Villas since the mid-80's :D I don't recall how but I got invited to a big party there and spent the entire night earnestly and drunkenly discussing many deep and important things ... or so twenty year old self-important me thought :grins: I am trying to recall which house it was - definitely on the left as you go into the street ... maybe the second house along?
So interesting did not know this existed thank you for sharing ❤
Very interesting 🧐 thnx for video 👍🏽
Awesome
I'm guessing by the state of the roadway and the pavements that the council has never adopted them, but that they are to this day the common property of the house owners, who don't cooperate well enough to fund the upkeep of the common parts.
And the council shouldn't "adopt" them either. Our money should be spent on our matters.
looks like the pavement needs a lot of work!
So does the road
Pavements look dangerous damage done by cars parking on them.
Brilliant Jenna thank you
Can't believe I've nevrr seen them 😮❤
Were these a children’s home at some point?
