    The fact that God allowed their temple to be destroyed to make sure there would be NO way for them to receive forgiveness unless they repent and believe in Jesus… wow! At least that is how I am understanding that. It makes so much sense

      litereally! i mean just be logical and examaining both religion!
      so god litereally said: no more blood sacrifice cause you guys never learn from it and just make more and more sins so it is pointless - so god litereally not accept their sacrifice cause it become an excuse pointless blank ticket to the heaven...
      then jews still have nothing over 2000 years so they go to hell... they still act like; ''no! we are choosen...'' still god not accept their sorry! over 2000 years and he never will...
      and then came jesus and said okey take my life and absorb all of their sins and give them the holy spirit and teach them what is the forgivness!
      so litereally before christ it was not forgivness but you litereally payed the FINE!!!

    This removes all worries in my mind and heart about Jesus. This is the final cemented piece of my heart, in my heart that the Lord has been building up for years. There is no way that I cannot believe in Jesus I have believed in Jesus for a long time but I had my doubts and worries. But Jesus is the perfect answer to a problem that is unsolvable without Him. Praise be to Jesus the Son of God who is my God and was with God and was God eternally and always never changing! Praise Jesus

    They can't. No one can receive forgiveness of sins outside of the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. That is why zionism is so tragic. People are lying to the Jews saying there is another path for them. There isn't, and they will go to hell unless they repent and put their faith in Christ like everyone else. The elect of God, God's people, are his church, which is made up of Jews and Gentiles that have put their faith in Christ.

      “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek” These were the words of paul the biggest contributor to Christianity. clearly you do not read YOUR scripture enough to be making any statements on the subject like this one. if this is the undisputed word of G-d what you just said goes completely against your belief system. I am not here to say you guys are wrong as you could be right and myself wrong. The thing I cannot grasp in Christianity is worshipping something, anything other than our one true G-d(yes I’m aware you justify it with the trinity/god head). I am also confused when people say he is the Messiah foretold about in Daniel and Isaiah because He did not fulfill the prophecies in the tanach (Old testament for y’all). Also it confuses me even if he were the messiah foretold when were we told to worship this messiah in scripture? Also in Tanach the scripture says the messiah will be the son of man and a descendant of David. That would mean Mary or G-d himself would have to be of Davidic descent, which as far as I’m aware is untrue in both cases (except through marriage because Joseph was of Davidic descent)

    I know the temple was destroyed in AD 70 - by the Romans. Just had a thought: was God behind the destruction of the temple in order to force the Jews to stop their sacrifices, since there was now a better way?

    • @TheGravityShifter
      @TheGravityShifter 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It's possible but since nothing is stated in Scripture outside of it being predicted by Jesus that the place would get destroyed, it should probably remain a theory. I say this because it's usually best to assume so unless explicitly written.
      God's plan is ultimately salvation. I say it's possible since if there's no animal sacrifice to atone, but Jesus' was perfectly sufficient, then it would make sense that God would want the Jewish people to take THAT sacrifice over animal sacrifice, and we in Christ are commanded to provoke the Jewish to Jealousy. Everyday there are more Messianic Jews in the world so I think the theory makes sense.
      And this theory makes all the more sense when you consider the 3rd Temple that's to be built isn't a temple of God at all, but one of the devil since it will allow animal sacrifice again only to be used as the Antichrist's seat of power. This will be another push for Jews to see Christ as the Lord and Lamb of God.

      That verse is talking about Israelites during Hosea’s time that made offerings in a showy display of devotion. They were also practicing sin! By their sinfulness they indicated that their hearts were devoid of loyal love.
      They also showed that they rejected knowledge of God, for they weren’t living in harmony with it. If people don’t have the proper heart condition and not pursuing the right way of life, their sacrifices were offensive to God!

    Why did God want animal bloods, kidney, liver, fats, burning etc, as offering or sacrifice? Its similar to the practices made by different religions.
    If God can be anywhere and protect any one, why did Moses beg to God to be with them throughout their Journey?

      like what is the livestock/animals truly are? it is our food! by that we not starving so litereally your money today!
      a whole lamb even today is not that cheap so by that you sacrifice your earthly wealth to prove god about your sorry!
      but what i realized it is not forgivness! god made an exchange! if you give forgivness then you not want something else for exchnage right?
      like your brother just hurted you because he had a bad day... you eventually forgive to him and not want to prove his sorry right? i mean probably you also had bad days and was a bit more irritated... so by this case god never forgived to peoples until jesus!

    According to a strict reading of the Mosaic Law, no, the Jewish people cannot atone for their sins without yearly animal sacrifices. However, throughout the centuries, many Jewish rabbis have invented new ways in which sin can be atoned for, including repentance, prayer, fasting, and good works.

    You blatantly ignore all the verses that say God does not delight in sacrifices but prefers repentance. Even in the Christian gospel, the story of prodigal son clearly shows God loves those who return to him. There’s so much joy in the heavens when this happens. The story makes absolutely no mention that the father expects his son to make an animal sacrifice before he embrace and welcome him home. In fact it was the father who prepared a feast for the son. Again, the message is God loves those who return back to Him after sinning without demanding an animal sacrifice.

      You must not read the Bible then but pretend you do. The New Testament clearly states that when it comes to Jesus, those who don’t believe are already condemned. Christ is the only way to the Father. You also forget how symbolic Christs death was. It was the anniversary of Passover, and also the same location where God asked Abraham to sacrifice his son before telling him to stop. Tye prophets before Jesus even said that a sin offering had to be made for the sins the community didn’t even know they were commiting. Stop doing what everyone does and picking verses out that fit your obscured view. When you read the texts as a whole, it is beyond obvious sacrifices are required. Ironically those sacrifices stopped in the temple after Jesus died. Not a coincidence.

      //those who don’t believe are already condemned.//
      Nowhere does Jesus make it a requirement to believe he's God or that God died for your sins, 2 of the prerequisites that christians make mandatory to be christian. Your fear of condemnation is what imprisons you and force you to believe in the nonsensical stuffs taught by the church (eg God came to earth in the flesh, flesh sacrificed as payment of sins that people commit in disobedience to God's commands, God the father speaks to god the son but they're not 2 gods but one god etc).
      //Tye prophets before Jesus even said that a sin offering had to be made for the sins the community didn’t even know they were commiting.//
      Exactly! Leviticus explains in detail on all types of sacrifices, and nowhere does it say a sacrifice can atone a deliberate sin and disobedience to God's commands. These offences are punishable by death, eg adultery, murder, dishonoring parents. Christians have been brainwashed to believe Jesus' death covers all types of sins! I doubt you even read Leviticus!

    Another method of atoning for sins is charity.
    - Exodus 30:15-16
    15) The rich shall give no more, and the poor shall give no less than half a shekel, with which to give the offering to the Lord, to atone for your souls.
    16) You shall take the silver of the atonements from the children of Israel and use it for the work of the Tent of Meeting; it shall be a remembrance for the children of Israel before the Lord, to atone for your souls."
    - Numbers 31:50
    50) We therefore wish to bring an offering for the Lord. Any man who found a gold article, be it an anklet, a bracelet, a ring, an earring, or a body ornament, to atone for our souls before the Lord.

    Long before the Torah was given [and after] people around the world have been making sacrifices to their gods, it's ubiquitous throughout mankind.
    With this in mind when I read about the sacrifices brought by Cain and Abel while realizing that God had not asked for any, I believe that it is an instinctual part of humanity.
    Therefore when God demanded that sacrifices be done by following the many rules etc. in the Torah, He was doing it with the long term goal of weaning people away from it.
    It is likely that in the Messianic era that there will be symbolic sacrifices, but not because God needs them, but to effect mankind.
    The killing of lambs for Passover was not about sacrifice, it was a sign of reverence and obedience.

    In many Bible verses, God forgives sins (worship idols, kill, steal, adultery, etc) *without animal sacrifice,* but through human's repentance, do good deeds, and stay away from sins (Isaiah, Jeremiah, etc).
    *But Christian mindset is original sin.* It's totally different. Jesus died as sacrifice to redeem original sin is Paul's teaching. *Jesus himself said,* if committing sins, repent (Mat 18:3). How to live eternally in heaven: by doing good deeds, and stay away from sins (Mark 10: 17-21). Those who do *good deeds will be saved,* and commit sins will be punished (Mark 9: 43-48, John 5: 29, etc).

      Types of jewish atonement of sins
      1 Burnt offering - to atone sins for not fulfilling a “positive” commandment (eg to pray to God, give charity according to one’s means)
      2 Sin offering - when a person violates a “negative” commandment unintentionally
      (eg unintentionally afflicting an orphan and widow)
      3 Peace offering - sharing of meat for a happy event (eg birth of a child, wedding)
      *For intentional sins of the “negative commandment” (*DO NOT* commandments eg “Thou shall not kill”), the punishment is death or lashing. There is no atonement of sins through animal sacrifice.

    I never understood this from a Jewish perspective, before the temple was built they had other sacrificial alters and temples that they sacrifice Don and they continued to believe I don’t know why they wanted to built more temples or alters at least. If the idea that that’s what washed away the sin and was atonement to save them just to stop doesn’t seem to make sense, for those who followed Christianity and Jesus being the final sacrifice it made sense for those who don’t recognise Jesus as the Messiah you think that they would re-establish some way to do it, Abraham built Many temples were alters and made the sacrifices and I don’t see how somebody else destroying the temple would change Levitical law🤔
    Now if you go and read, say the beginning of Isaiah where God is speaking through him he makes it clear that he’s sick of the sacrifices and I could see where they might go there. I’m just not sure how from a theological standpoint that they were supposed to be living by the Levitical law and then all of a sudden I forget that well just , pray and do some Charity and that somehow changes the law. I’m just not seeing how that can be justified now if there was a profit that came and said specifically stop doing this and do it a different way that would be different but they were still doing it up to 7080 which is long after Isaiah and the other profits so I just don’t understand the logic or where the idea comes from that they just don’t need to do it anymore and can work it out a different way, where does that come from God? I understand it from a Christian perspective and of course the apostles and the first Christians were Jews and Jesus is the Jewish Messiah but for those following Levitical law who didn’t recognise Jesus as their Messiah how do they justify just quitting animal sacrifice or what do they say about it other than the temple Was destroyed? It just seems like they changed the rules without any provocation from God just decided not to anymore, I don’t know it’s weird. 🤔

      53 Who has believed our message
      and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
      2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
      and like a root out of dry ground.
      He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
      nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
      3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
      a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
      Like one from whom people hide their faces
      he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
      4 Surely he took up our pain
      and bore our suffering,
      yet we considered him punished by God,
      stricken by him, and afflicted.
      5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
      he was crushed for our iniquities;
      the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
      and by his wounds we are healed.
      6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
      each of us has turned to our own way;
      and the Lord has laid on him
      the iniquity of us all.
      7 He was oppressed and afflicted,
      yet he did not open his mouth;
      he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
      and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
      so he did not open his mouth.
      8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
      Yet who of his generation protested?
      For he was cut off from the land of the living;
      for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
      9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
      and with the rich in his death,
      though he had done no violence,
      nor was any deceit in his mouth.
      10 Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
      and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
      he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
      and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
      11 After he has suffered,
      he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
      by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
      and he will bear their iniquities.
      12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
      and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
      because he poured out his life unto death,

    David, Jesus Said was held guiltless for eating the show bread which was unlawful for David to... not needing to be bound to repentance... God seemed completely free to forgiven and pardon the sins of David.. God Seems to throughout the OT That Sacrifices are not obedience to Their God, cause with Obedience the law is fulfilled, evn seen the fact in Jer. 7 that he never requested them to Their Fathers after the events of exodus, add your offerings to your meat, youre not obeying me by giving me offering and sacrifices.
    Therefore sacrifices and offerings dont bring about righteousness, Obeying Showing mercy, a broken Heart are the will of God in both the old and New.

    I hope your not going to say Jesus. Read Micah, god doesn't require a sacrifice. Read your Bible you don't need an animal sacrifice.

    Yeah, but Jews don’t believe in Jesus and his sacrifice. So they’re still under the penalty of their sin.

    Close but not quite right. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Jn 14:6.
    You have to accept Jesus as your Savior. That Jesus is the ONLY way. Jews will not be Ruptured and are destined to go through the Great Tribulation so that they may come to Repentance and accept Jesus as LORD. Jews, as far as my research shows, do NOT believe Jesus is the Savior, but Moses is.

      @@Ezekiel336-16 🤣 "In Christ"
      Being born and baptized *CHURCH of CHRIST,* raised on KJV and belt, I NEVER THOUGHT OF CATHOLICS AS "CHRISTIAN."
      😔💔😔 My first death and treason threats for everyone was in late 2015; I offered to hold hands with leaders when boko servants were putting heads on stakes down in Africa. *RECALL that pope Francis and Russian patriarch then met for the 1st time in over 1k years in early 2016.*
      Before my paternal blood UNNECESSARILY left physical in late 2018, one of the threats included gang rape with opened mouth gag.
      There's a group/user name of PSYCHO-THERAPY. Most recent thing of theirs I touched concerned Haiti, Sufi's, and sounded like bits of voodoo going on. PRIOR TO THAT, ONE OF THEIR MISGUIDED VIDEO'S MISINTERPRETED QURAN 20:102. That b a s t a r d mentioned GATHERING AND BURNING ALL BLUE EYED PEOPLE, if memory is serving me correctly. 😔💔😔
      Although my hazel/light brown eyed paternal blood was one of ten cotton picking kids born to sharecroppers, MY ONLY BIRTHED ONE AND I BOTH HAVE BLUE/GREEN EYES.
      My maternal blood that made it to the states was GERMAN jew and EAST INDIAN ROYALTY.
      My birthed one's paternal blood was Scottish and/or Irish catholic immigrants to the states. Although deceased when his sperm donor and I married, their names were William and Mary.
      Years ago it was suggested that I tell people that *I AM JESUS CHRIST AND/OR ALLAH ALMIGHTY!*
      Islam is a GROUP in submission.
