My interest level in the game went up drastically due to this video release. The castle looks fantastic, it will be good fun getting lost. Been playing Greedfall in my free time and the combat here has a similar vibe, just with ranged spells. I like it. Downer that it is single player, but this way we get an immersive story. I wonder if it will allow for branching stories and tough decisions like Mass Effect. Not sure of the name, but the tentacled faced critter is inside Newt's briefcase in Fantastic Beasts.

@@BarbCatarina In that some characters, or side quests might change or be unavailable based on how you behave or choices made. Use curses a lot and students become scared of you, or you can no longer take certain classes.

I'm buying it on Xbox and Switch! I'm so excited. I get emotional everytime I watch this. I can't wait to get sorted into Hufflepuff. Since it wasn't shown, I do however wonder about things like... 1) Can we explore the Black Lake? Can we go underwater? 2) I saw a quick snippet of Dementors in the first trailer. Does that mean there's a Patronus Charm system involved? How would it determine our patronuses or can we choose them? 3) Can explore or travel to other locations such as Azkaban, Godrics Hollow, The Shrieking Shack, or the Ministry of Magic? 4) Since you can have a companion join you on your adventure, can you both hit an opponent with spells? Can you tag team with spells? 4) What happens if you choose a dark path? Does your appearance change? Do students respond to you differently ala Fable? 5) How do you get to Hogwarts? Do you go to Platform 9 ¾? Flying car? Floo powder? Thestrals? Uber? 6) Can we grow our own or at least see/encounter a Whomping Willow? 7) Can you fall off your broom? So many things I'm curious about. Plus a lot more. But I already know this will be my favorite game of all time.

I didn't even think about the Black Lake and the other locations you listed in #3, but I'm sure we will ... if not right now, I am sure they will drop it in a DLC. For #2, I'm wondering if it's a test like Pottermore when we choose our house. If so, the Patronus might be a test as well. Or maybe we can just choose? #4 is def an exciting thought. 🤔 I am curious too! For #5, there seems to be multiple ways of traveling, including apparition. But I would assume it would prob be the typical way to get into Hogwarts and use the other methods outside of Hogwarts? #6 I was thinking about this! G had brought it up. But when I looked it up, the one we see in the 3rd movie wasn't planted until the 19 0s. BUT i read that apparently in year 6, Professor Sprout taught how to grow it, so maybe we will :) #7 I would think so, especially if it's not during "travel" mode. SAME here.
