Not sure if you ever did this in a video or off-camera. After completing the game, one of the Room of Requirement rooms (left “downstairs”) will greatly expand for more customization.
All I know is that Rookwood’s descendant is mentioned in Goblet of Fire and was the death eater who was responsible for the death of Fred Weasley in Deathly Hallows during the battle of hogwarts Edit: I found another Easter egg, when collecting a ancient magic hotspot in the forbidden forest near the area where you fight the Absconder, you find a dead body with a note that says “FOLLOW THE SPIDERS” repeatedly Another one, all 4 vivariums are a reference to the first Fantastic Beasts movie, with Newt’s case of creatures Edit: In hogsmeade, you can find a pair of kids both with red hair looking in one of the shops as a reference to Fred and George Weasley
Would love to see you do a slytherin playthrough!! You could also just do the other houses up to the map chamber for their house-exclusive quests. It takes like 3-4 hours to do each one, maybe you could do one a month or something - just a thought :)
How many people were like "aww, they left out the corridor where Harry tracks down Pettigrew and narrowly avoids Snape in PoA" and then upgraded your Alohomora and gasped when you came across it?
The Mind your business quest is really spooky, they nailed that with the soundtrack and atmosphere of that whole segment. I had already watched you play through that part of the game so I knew what to expect but it had been a while so I still got plenty jumpscared. And I legit had to jump on a discord call with a friend cause the mannequins, man. I'm still traumatized from the hospital segment in Little Nightmares II so the mannequins creep me out *a lot* now lol. Also, for the stag easter egg, I don't remember which episode of your playthrough it was but you did spot it, but only through your character's dialogue (Such regal creatures, stags), you didn't notice the stag on the other side of the shore.
I am proud to say I only missed two easter eggs :D the one of the divination teacher hiding her drinks in the vase and the rabbit ear top hat. I am very glad to have discovered everything else this was such a great video! I loved this game so very very much! I need more! MORE!
Omg I ran for this video like my life depended on it lol. I will absolutely watch a second play-through of this game, especially if you're slytherin(different character intros)/using unforgivable curses/etc! Ooh and this isn't really an easter egg but it's something interesting I noticed when I added mods: I was surprised to discover that if you play with the now-famous companion mod on, there's quite a bit of added NPC character dialogue- mostly for sebastian- on random world quests that was cut out of the game that you can hear with that mod. The developers must've intended the player to be able to have a buddy while running around but it got cut for some reason. It was pretty cool to discover that they will actually comment quest-specific stuff when just running around the world with you.
This game made someone who use to turn their nose up to harry potter fall absolutely 100% head first into the Wizarding world so much so I'm already on my second read through of the series on half blood prince and now that I know about the world I can't wait to replay the game! Hufflepuff for life lol
It’s a tiny thing but while the specific whomping willow in the grounds isn’t planted yet, it would have been cool to see one in one of the gardens! The closest we get is that topiary dragon, I think.
I just finished the main storyline (after not playing once I got to the last few main quests because I didn’t want it to end) literally 2 days ago! I’m still working on clearing all treasure caves and other random little things, but I’m almost done it all (as a hufflepuff) and I’ll be doing it as each house 😊
I ran around the Care Of Magical Creatures section for so long looking for Robbie's memorial, but never actually found it. 😭 The Prefects bathroom is another really good Easter Egg, and a few other places in the castle that look exactly how they're described in the books. I could go on and on about how much I love the team's attention to detail throughout this whole game. I'm absolutely replaying for one of the other houses with arachnophobia mode on and to capture a clip of following the butterflies to use in a TikTok.
Hey Zackatk, the memorial headstone is not at the COMC section. It is at the Groundskeeper's Shed/Hut. Can't remember if it was Shed or Hut, but it has a field guide page denoting it as such. It is different to the creatures class. It is a little further afield down a track/trail. I can't remember which direction I'm afraid as I unfortunately don't own the game myself but I remember it from watching others play here on youtube. I'm sure someone else will see your comment here eventually and hopefully give you directions to it. If I find a vid with it in again I will make note of title of the vid and time stamp and comeback and let you know. Good luck finding it. 😀

I wasn't actually looking for it so I did laugh when it came up. The youtuber is "Sam Bram' the title of the vid is '25 Hidden Free Gifts in Hogwarts Legacy' and the time stamp for Hagrid's Grave is 17:01, Hope you find it ! 😀
These details from books and movies are insane and so much more to discover, for example if you play as a male character not being able to enter the girl's dormitories due to the stairs turning into slides, all of the portraits, the names such as Gaunt, meaning Ominis is a great-great-great uncle or such to the Dark Lord etc. I got teary-eyed and overwhelmed sooooooo often in this game it's just insane. I adore it
I would like to see how your Room of Requirement is coming along. I play on PC and have been spending a lot of time in my RoR and the vivariums. Also, I am eagerly awaiting for DLC content, hoping that the RoR will not be forgotten in a DLC. There's so much potential just with the RoR DLC alone -- fireplace, stacks of books (we're students, we need books,) practice dummy to shoot spells at, etc.
I loved this game. Played it, as a gryffindor. Love the story, exploration, flying, graphics etc fantastic game. Definitely the best Harry Potter gane I’ve ever played. You look beautiful, btw.
Thats why when people complained about it taking so long (it was a small group im sure) i would always say like would you rather them rush it and leave out so many details leaving us unhappy (as other games have done) or take their time to make sure it’s absolutely perfect and meets the fan’s expectations?

17:49 when I went to universal, I waited 2h for Hagrid’s ride and IT GOT SHUT DOWN. It wasn’t working and people got stuck on the ride so I waited another 1 hour and the line didn’t move. I of course left and I was veryyyy sad.
Miranda, I had a sudden thought for the next game - UNDERWATER! You have to master bubble-head charms or self-Transfiguration (or find Gillyweed) and quests take you into the lake, battling grindylows and other aquatic magical creatures, cut-scenes with merpeople! Sunken ships as settings for quests, treasure chests, you name it! I'm so excited for something that doesn't even exist (yet - developers, if you're lurking here, we can chat whenever!)
Please do play throughs for each of the other houses. I am having withdrawals from your Hogwarts Legacy vids. I have watched some others but yours is by far the best purely due to your utter love of all things Harry Potter. I would definitely watch other Hogwarts Legacy vids you may ever decide to do also. Like if you did some Easter egg hunts or just a lets decorate the room of requirement in different styles or a catching magical beasts for the vivarium's and maybe breeding them to see all the baby forms. Then maybe a shiny hunt. There are so many different things we could do. Just purely exploring the castle or different areas. I am sure you could think of many more and surely your community of Potter fans here can add more ideas to the list for Hogwarts Legacy Vids. Be sure that I would watch each and every one and probably multiple times. I'm likely not the only one at that. Thanks for your Hogwarts Legacy content to date, it truly is the best on the tube. 😀
Hogwarts legacy is a game that clearly has a passionate development team, even though I 100% the game, I still feel I only scratched the surface of the game.
You didn’t miss the moment of the stag across the pond, it was a part of the Gryffindor specific quest. So when you got to go to Azkaban, that’s when the Gryffindor quest took place.
The character (you) says something very particular about that stag across the lake, play again, I'll watch your second playthrough (yay me), and you'll hear it quite distinctively.
You should play the game again and do another video recording of it this time as a different hogwarts house. Each house has their own unique quests and story adaptation to finding the missing pages, they are. Ollivander's Heirloom (Ravenclaw) The Hunt for the Missing Pages (Gryffindor) Scrope's Last Stand (Slytherin) and of course Prisoner of Love (Hufflepuff). They game developers have also added in some new surprises to the game since your last recorded. I really hope to see them continue the game by having a 6th year and 7th year.
I haven't watched all the episodes yet, but did you find the frog statue that teleports you to a secret room? I don't know if it's an Easter egg, but it's so hilarious! 😁 It's next to a staircase in Hogwarts.

I hate Harry Potter movies and books!!! But I love to see a happy fan of them and is so pumped up!!! And I confess that the game is one of the best games ever made if not the best one!!!! I freakin love it!!! Control mechanics, story, visuals; special effects, material of clothing, olor palette, spells effects, secrets; world, climate, characters, facial expressions, animations; little details; and so on!!! They put in this game the four words missing in a lot of games creations; “L O V E” 💪🏾❤️🙂

I can't say I agree with you when you say there's so much you can do while reading. Gaming has its limitations too, even open worlds games, in Hogwarts Legacy for example, you can't experience Quidditch, there's a limit to the spells you can cast, etc... Of course, I am not saying in any way that gaming is better or worse, I too am a gamer and I looove it but reading something you can transport yourself to the world and through you imagination you can do so much! You can be the main character, you can be the love interest, you can be the villain! There's so much possibilities if you let your creativity run free. Of course, I am talking about my own experience and this is by any means saying that reading is better than gaming, everyone has their own opinion. Love your videos though! Keep it up ❤ (sorry for the long text eheh)
Hogwarts itself was the real gem of the game. The gameplay itself became repetitive and boring with little variation in enemies and challenges. But Hogwarts was amazing.

There are challenges around the world map that brings up a maze similar to the maze in the Triwizard cup.

Hagrids is definitely worth the wait!!! It moves quickly and it is 100% worth the wait! An hour is actually low for that ride!
Exactly lol :) I waited about 10 hours and 2 minutes on opening day, but most days still have a 2 hour wait. The ride is phenomenal!

Little Blue ( Boo Boo) never ran downstairs this fast! like I opened up a can of cat food! She hears your voice and she plants her butt by the TV!

The poltergeist quest is on the PS4 which i played all 4 houses on and still playing to this day. Lol.
