    I grew up Catholic. When I joined the Church, my sister stopped talking to me for two years. She also physically assaulted me. My mom disrespects my faith whenever she can. In front of my daughters-who are LDS-my mom said “I wish all Mormons were dead”. She has also said she didn’t understand “why anybody would marry a Mormon”. She pretty much destroyed the relationship between us and between her and my daughters. My sister is basically a Wiccan. My younger brother doesn’t go to church and is essentially an agnostic. But, she acts like I’m the freak. So weird. Keep up the good fight.

    Great interview! Wonderful conversation story. I am very happy for her.
    If she is having trouble reading the Book of Mormon, she might want to listen to them. I have almost worn out a set of CD's of the Book of Mormon. I have read the BofM several times, but listening to them can bring a new understanding to the scriptures.
    Good luck, know that you are truly loved.

    I approached sister missionaries in the shopping mall, because I really. Wasn't feeling the Christmas spirit...so I thought they might be able give we some...and find out what the actual deal with the church, it's a nice story, they took me to Their tea appointments...
    My mum was wierded out when I was just saying hello to the missionaries who were teaching in the shopping mall

    Beautiful story. Thank you for sharing. You will always be a great missionary with or without the official call. One suggestion, some church members mispronounce Patriarchal Blessings. It is not Patri- article, it's Patri- archal. Hope this helps

    Having left this organization last year, at age 47, 7th generation member back to Kirtland days, I used to roll my eyes when people would say it's a cult. However, it is. It's not the church Joseph restored. They've been in apostasy for a very, very long time. Much of what is taught isn't even in the Book of Mormon, either. So sad, so many have been lulled away into a false sense of security as they perform dead works in gaudy buildings thinking their leaders can never lead them astray, instead of seeking a personal relationship with Christ. The lds church protects pedophiles over their victims, all in an attempt to protect the name of the church, instead of children.

      Ask God and if he tells you to join, then, what are you going to do?

    • @Golfdad8356

      Please leave the church and leave it alone! Does it make you happy to try to seek to destroy what someone else cherishes? Be on your merry way, let me know when you find something that brings you more truth and light, and quit trolling teenage converts who would likely be dead without the Church. Shame on you. Share good, don’t spread hate. You think you’re helping, but you’re 100% not. You had a bad LDS experience, we get it. Move on from it and find something that makes you happy, other than hiding behind a keyboard seeking to destroy others’ testimonies.

    • @mrp4242
      @mrp4242 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Wow Kristine, it’s not the church that’s in apostasy--
      Also, speak for yourself. You claim members are doing dead works in gaudy buildings and not developing a relationship with Christ. Holy cow, not only have you become a judgmental fool, you are also lying. All of those in my family and the valiant members I know, their relationship with God and Jesus Christ is their number one priority. You saying otherwise means SQUAT to me. We see through this.
      You can’t be in a happy place right now. You sound like a miserable person.
      I hope things improve for you.
      In the meantime, I suggest not kicking against the pricks.
