Would love some reviews of your cars, especially the ML55. The good and the bad, driving impressions etc. Owning a W208 CLK55 myself its hard to stay away from AMG's and I'm definetely thinking of getting an ML
@@HeyboysGarage I think so too😂😂. I'm doing your mod precess but skipping the headers for now. I'm getting dual cold air intakes and exhaust with stage 2 tune. Later when I add the headers do the tune adjust to them or I have to get it redid.
Bro, I went through it last weekend! First I couldn't get the lugs off. Broke a gang of tools in the process. Anyway, finally got to them, had to use a breaker bar to get the caliper off. Job done except one, caliper pins are bent so I couldn't get the old pads off.
That looked like a pain to do. But it certainly was necessary. The truck looks great with perfect stance. It was good to see the shock/ spring combo you have installed. Great content, but you missed the perfect time to repaint the calipers 😂. Looking forward to see what you do next to the ML
Thanks! I’m content with the stance, the calipers I will plan to get that done sometime this summer hopefully if not then in the fall for a refresher. Stay tuned then!
Thought id tell you my Clk500 was stolen a couple days ago :/ I had done so much maintenance to it so make it drive like how it did in 2006 all that hard work down the drain. I was wondering why you didn't take advantage of the FCP euro lifetime warranty for the brakes. I used that warranty for the rotors, pads, oil and everything! they also have the oem spec rotors and pads
Sorry about that man. With time’s like this I feel like you shouldn’t knock yourself down too hard. We live in a world where stuff like this happens, and it’s inevitable. Can’t imagine what you’re going through, but I wish I could give you a ride in mine to help you feel better. Things get better man much love.
i'm so sorry :( I hope you are keeping your head up and it not putting you down. Best advise I have is to stay positive and look forward into the future. i knew about their lifetime warranty but I have never really though about trying it... I don't know why.. I would have to give it a try on the next thing that comes up on either the ML or CLK. So whats going to be the situation with the CLK now gone?
@@HeyboysGarage thanks for the words man. And just talking to insurance getting all the camera footage and and statements. I hope I get a good price for it because I kept it in impeccable condition interior and exterior
give us a proper exhaust video for the ML 55. The last one has music playing over. I wanna hear that idle and some pulls need an exhaust for mine wanna go your route
😂 that’s fine if I picked it up with my hands, only reason I used the brake cleaner is to remove the oil they leave on the rotor that needs removed before installing not for the dirt on it

They are fantastic suvs, they aren’t expensive to get either!
Alot of info out there to maintain them also.
Good work👌
Thanks! It was a very difficult / tedious work I’m glad I got it done and out of the way
Need to see this against the clk500. Also need more races with the slk500
I gotta plan on that! Clk vs ML that would be a good one to see. But I think the clk will destroy the ML 😅

Its always the worst when the job ends up being like that! Frustrating and takes all day lol Damn i have never seen the caliper pins bend!

ML55 is sold
Wheels 17 or 18?
18
How many miles on your ml55 ? Iam looking at one with 160k for $4500
211k miles but I sold mine
Also google how to brake in new pads.
Why?
Lol 😂 you brake clean the rotor but then pick it up with hands and put it on. Think you did that backwards. Lol
