One of the tightest, multidimensional joy rides in recent memory. Love the cast, writing, score and cinematography. I hope the writing stays sharp and this series keeps going. Love the change of direction from serious discussions of the fragile balance of global equilibrium to such great comedic moments and timing. Love it and the chemistry between Russel and Sewel. It's so clear when actors really feel supported by the material. Good actors can make something out of nothing, but you can see the strain. This show gives everyone so much to work with, layered characters, complex but clear storylines, rich emotion. It's a substantive show that really lets its characters shine. You can tell they're all having a ball.
This show is why we pay for Netflix. Every now and then they make an interesting show for adults that entertains as well as educates. Keri Russell is great, as is Rufus Sewell and the rest of the supporting cast.
