Masonry M8 x 65mm anchor eye bolt for heavy duty fixing applications. This eye bolt is zinc yellow passivated for superior corrosion protection. The four way expansion shield provides a strong and secure anchorage. The bolts' specially manufactured retaining springs ensure encapsulation of the wedge during expansion. To use the bolts first drill a 14mm diameter hole with a minimum depth of 50mm then use an M8 spanner to tighten the nut and expand the shield. The M8 eye bolt has a total overall thread length of 65mm. Available in various pack sizes in our shop. Search for EYE8. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
helpful video on DIY anchor bolt installation.
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to show how they work
Where do you measure the depth of the hole you will make?
I got a different brand m8 and when i try to turn the nut snug, it unscrews the whole cap. Is this perhaps cause the hole is to big then? The complete anchor seems secure but i can still twist the bolt. Used a hammer/drill driver in concrete wall 14mm
These look perfect... shame they're out of stock.
I have an m10 eye bolt.
Screw fix say they don't have anything close to a 50 ml dia drill bit, and I can't find one on ebay either! Or bnq. Could you please tell me where I get one from pls.
You wouldn't need a 50mm drill bit. You may want a 16mm. He said for the M8 you would need a 14mm drill bit.
50mm is the length of the bolt not the drill diameter.
