Henry got sacked from his last job by idiots, I think it´s the best thing that ever happened to him. Love Henry´s enthusiasm, and dear will to do his best for us!
Ford ran a 4.9 liter inline 6. But, it was only a high torque, low horsepower workhorse. Probably the most unkillable gasoline engine in a production light truck ever built.
This is an achingly beautiful car. Half a century on, and I see the brand new vanquish vision concept as a world apart, but equally beautiful. They know a thing or two about design!
How is it that this channel doesn’t have over a million subscribers yet? The videos on here are beautifully shot and edited and Henry is probably the most engaging motor journalist on the internet at the moment.
Back in 2003 I happened to be in London, crossing Blackfriars Bridge at around 5am. As I pulled up at the lights on the south side of the bridge, what should pull up next to me on an otherwise utterly deserted road, but a DF GT Zaggoto. I encouraged the owner to wind his passenger window down to chat - I was speechless and he was delighted to meet someone who shared his obvious joy. I asked him politely if it was indeed, genuine and he assured me it was and then told me that the absolute best thing about it, was that it went like stink. It was a hell of a car to see in the metal; so utterly beautiful and rarer than hens teeth.
You may well be "the luckiest motoring journalist in the world", but more importantly, I think you're quite probably the best. The quality of the videos coming out of this channel are absolutely sublime. I've long missed riding down the road on my bike each month to pick up a copy of EVO when I was a teenager, but this more than makes up for it. Thank you and keep it up!
@TSW13 Haque The rich collectors would probably stick to the original. Don't know anyone would want a second edition of something if they have the money to buy the first one.
You're so bloody humble, Henry! You say you're the luckiest journalist, i just think you're simply the best. That'd be the reason why you're the only one having had a go to the DB4 GT and to this one as well. Lucky = hard work. Well done!
I'd argue the new Vantage and DBS Superleggera are almost as good looking. Obviously they don't have the classic charm and beauty, but they're some of the best looking cars made in decades and I believe they'll be future classics in their own right
@@Ben-Rogue True! Though I think the Vantage has a much more timeless, athletic and classy design. The DBS on the other hand looks a bit too fussy and extreme, like it's hiked up on make-up and drugs lol. Both are still relative stunners though.
11:05. I've seen 2 VEV with my own eyes. I was about 14 years old and travelling with a friend's family down the M4 in their rusty Fiat 131 Mirafiori with bullet holes down the side where the trim used to be! It was absolutely hammering it down with rain and believe it or not 2 VEV was being towed by a pick up truck on an open trailer!
Every inch the visual equal to the 250GTO IMHO. Infact, of all the cars I could've chosen, it was 2 VEV that I decided to draw, just for fun (as I'd never own one!!)....
Great video, great car. Only comment would be Henry that as a journalist rather than a racing driver primarily an open face helmet would be a better choice as you would not sound muffled and we could also see the joy on your face.
Well done H. Lovely film as ever. Now, I wonder if it is me.? In looking at this, certain aspects SHOUT out to me AC Aceca.? Perhaps it is me.. Seasons greetings. WF PS, if you don't know, check out the Aston Workshop site. Their DB4 GT replica does not cost £6m and you'll get loads of change from their asking price. And perhaps a used Aston thrown in for good measure. Happy days.
That's what speedo's did back in the day. The needle used to bounce around over a speed range so you had no idea the exact speed you were doing. It seems an odd thing to replicate but I guess if you really want to drive one of these and not be able to tell you are not driving an original then it makes some sense.
1.2 mm thick body panels?! That's near paper thin! No wonder the 4.7L I6 is so heavy, it does give it a good weight balance. Henry does enjoy his job.😁
@@Billbothebear14 maybe not everyone is 14 years old like you, when I watch a "track review" I want onboard footage, this video is an improvement over the stupid vlog-camera they were using all the time not to long ago but I still rather watch the raw onboard footage of that onboard cam instead of this garbage. it feels like a podcast with bits of driving footage and they made the video 12 minutes long to get extra youtube money when they could have created an epic video for true drivers. you don't have to agree with me, you also don't have to go out and drive 150mph regulary like people in my country, you don't have to go drifting or go to a track, you've probably never been to a track if you disagree with me because otherwise you would know how enjoyable the raw onboard footage of a car like this is on a racetrack. but you do have to understand that different people like different things. how can I care about toys for billionaires when all I need to have fun is a RWD car with ~100hp? how can I not care about onboard footage of a rare car like this driven by a real driver on a racetrack? you watch whatever you like, and I watch motorsports and get driving impressions by watching a car go down the road. sure, henrys opinions are valuable, but like I said the onboard footage is at least as valuable. have a nice day.
So Lucky Henry! I’m sure more than a few fellow Journalists are jealous. Ha Ha, Looks like you are having a great time sliding around in a £4-5 million Car
Im glad the channel knows who their best presenter is.

783cc per cylinder 🤣

"Do you know how fast you were going?" "Somewhere between 40 and 80 MPH, officer, that's as accurate as my speedometer gets..."
I noticed it and was like...damn, they really went for vintage accuracy right there...lol.
Carfection is by far the most pleasing car channel contentwise. I'm in love! Thank you, everyone, who made these videos so great!
Theslamone check out tyrell's classic workshop.
The ultimate classic!!!
This video is a real feast for the eyes and ears. Shout out to the camera men and editing team 👏
Bravo Aston for choosing Henry to review these cars. There is no one better. Bravo Carfection.
What a fantastic machine, I wish more companies would do these, but at more affordable prices.
Even the paint looks like it adds rigidity. What a beautiful car.
Damn that's gorgeous.
I'm so glad to see Aston Martin doing these DB4 recreations. Now all I have to do is win the lottery. Thanks.
Henry , the best way to start a weekend
Henry is definitely my favorite car journalist. So good to hear him describe to drive and feel of vehicles.
The sound of the gear changes is so satisfying.

Carfection makes the best car videos bar none. Henry is an absolute legend
The best car video maker in the world💥🔥🔥🔥💥💥
One of the 10 most beautiful designs ever, for sure.
I have goosebumps on goosebumps watching that beautiful piece of automotive greatness. Thank you for making this film.

What a privilege driving that piece of art must be. I can barely keep my jaw from dropping.. stunning that one.. thank you for sharing this moment..
It goes without saying that a car of this caliber, finesse and heritage needs a presenter who's up to the job. And man, is Henry up to it.
It's amazing but why put carbon fiber seats in it. Couldn't you do something more retro?
Couldn't enjoy it after seeing that. Awful.
Horrific.
I hope that was a customer choice.
I now wish you didn‘t point that out so maybe I wouldn‘t have noticed. Horrid.
So you missed the roll cage?
Just when I thought the DB5 was the most beautiful Aston Martin ever. This care takes my breath away !

Quite a skill to drive at that level and talk intelligibly about its details!
All the right noises in just one beautiful car
That has been my favorite car for 50 years or so. I would love to see it in a proper green.
What an absolutely gorgeous car. I’d happily forgo my modern Aston for one of these. Or a 79 Vantage.
6 million pounds? I want what they’re smoking...sort of... Lol

Loved among others, Henry’s 812 Superfast review.
Always amazed at your ability to compare in detail with a car your drove once months ago!
