      Not Brilliant
Lame, especially with the clanging glass bottles, this is brilliance to you?
If it were a comedy spoof then it would be brilliant but that's not what they were going after here.

+Trevor Prather don't think you understand how old the film is and what it's about this is not placed in 2016 did you not see the car or the fact he pulled out a switch blade? it's old it would intimidate you in that time

Even out of context this scene is amazing.
You feel the threat of the antagonist, the position they in and the bravery of the protagonists.
Dope scene, dope movie, dope game.

I remember hearing they were gonna scrap this scene because the Director Walter and Writers could not figure out what to do. It was originally them doing a staredown but felt it was too bland.
They were rushed on set and were low on money around the end. Until David brainstormed an idea and gathered midget bottles on the shore. They were confused and he went on set with them on his fingers, and did this scene in one go. They were holding back laughter on set but tried to keep serious. Walter thought this scene was genius and kept it in.
David thought of the idea because when he was a kid, he had Bullies who would knock on his window and yell "DAVID, COME OUT TO PLAY-YAY!"

The actor trained for years in martial arts , ha had dreams of becoming an International kung fu champion. In one match a contenders tournament in Singapore he was poisoned prior to his fight and was viciously knocked out. With his dreams, hopes and plans flushed down the toilet he became quite fawned of pulling the cork. WHISKEY BECAME HIS MISSTRES AND THEN THE SMOKE BECAME HIS LOVER. After wondering around NEPAL , INDIA , SRI LANKA BURMA AND BANGLADESH trying get his head straight and hoping for a come back In life he had a chance meeting in SRI LANKA with the actor who played CYRUS in the movie. Over three or four hash smokes he was given an opportunity go audition for WARRIORS. The director said he was the most psychotic person he had ever met but was perfect the part and the rest is history. He still trains and takes an occasional trip to SOUTHEAST ASIA , He really loves the women.

Am I the only person that thought: "wait a minute, the way he put that switch blade in his back belt would of eventually led to him stabbing himself in the ass?"

yeah doesn't opening your switch blade and putting it in the back of your belt just defy the whole point of having one in the first place?

New York City during the 1970s, it was such a hoot. Now, it seems to be regressing backwards towards that era.

41 year old film nerd that watched The Warriors for the first time this morning. I always knew about the “warriors, come out to play line”, but never knew about the bottles clinking for 40 seconds before. Epic scene and a great movie.
