You mean the guy enforcing things the sign for the skate park doesn’t say is inspiring good etiquette? According to the rules of the skate park he should be sitting waiting his turn. I was going to say why not assemble a group to get together there consistently and be a bunch of lads, loud, vulgar, and off putting enough to scare them off. It wasn't too long ago where a skate park was not somewhere you would want to take a kid in the first place.
It baffles me that these parents who have kids clearly interested in the sport, would belittle the man who could teach them A LOT, rather than pulling them aside and saying "hey little Timmy, watch this cool guy" KRAZY 😂
A self entitled prick that sees a sign with directions and instead of acknowledging the one that applies here to his situation he goes around acting like it’s his personal park. None of the rules support what he was trying to do. 3 possibly 4 rules apply to him with the most poignant and relevant one being if it’s busy sit down and wait your turn. Not tell other people to get off so you can take your turn whenever you’re good and ready. Literally nothing justified his behaviour. I am 62 years old and a former skateboarder and my name is Karen for real 😂 I am from the time when boundaries were being pushed for rails, stairs, and jumps. They started building skate parks then charging fees none of could afford 😡 There were many times experts let me know that I was in the way and was going to get hurt and they were right. Almost always someone would one to one with me in a safer area to practice skills. All of us won. I was still skating. I was improving. They were knocking tricks out of the park. All of us were safe, and I got to learn from them. Respect the sport and one another. Everyone wins.
We grew up the same time. Thank you, this brought back memories. Being taught by the older kids and turning around and teaching the younger kids always did and still does put a smile on my face. Have a lovely day...
I’m an ex-skateboarder and this really annoyed me. But more importantly, as a parent it pissed me off. They deliberately left their kids there just to make a point, which meant putting them in danger of a collision. If you’re not skating, riding a scooter or a bike, move out of the way. Because they’ve never used a skate park before, they will never understand.
It always blows my mind that people like this are so confident that they are right that they involve the police. What’s worse is that the only reason they aren’t moving, like any reasonable person would, is because they don’t want to be told what to do.
1. Don’t leave equipment on the track 2. Keep your kids from wandering into the path of other skaters If the kids can’t ride the grown track without someone walking next to them they shouldn’t be there But if you insist on being there. Don’t. Be. A. Nuisance! Awful people and I hope their kids learn in spite of their teachings
In the time she argued. They could have cleared, the kids would have gotten an AWEOME skate show, and probably learned something cool. She would have looked like an awesome parent.
Everyone pays taxes. Some of us don’t have kids and yet are happy to have our taxes help pay for schools. When she told you to “get a job” as if you weren’t BOTH at a skatepark mid day.
Homeownership has nothing to do with being a taxpayer, and if she's a stay at home mom chances are skater dude pays more in taxes than she does. Also, actively keeping the park clean with a broom he brought himself. While giving her shit for being a Karen. Top tier shit.
Rates (a home owner regional tax) pay’s for parks and their up keep in New Zealand not income tax. Thats why she said it. But everyone still ends up contributing to that maybe indirectly through rent. I bet that woman has never been wrong in her life or been able to walk past a cake!
These moms seem like the type to say "This isnt a skate park" and call the cops if you were rolling down a side walk. So to get mad at you for using the skatepark for its intended use while they treat it as a day care is layers of entertainment
What a delusional karen. 14:25 "We won, you lost", its not about winning or loosing, its about keeping everyone safe in the park and not linger around on the obstacles.
The sign should say “No mommies allowed.” If you feel the need to supervise your child at the skate park, your child is too young for a skate park. This is literally the first time I’ve seen moms hovering like this physically on the obstacles. Crazy.
There really should be a sign like that. Wasn’t there an designated area in the park for younger kids? I would not put my toddlers in the half pipe, an impact with a full grown man could be fatal.
@@ragga7862yes there’s a pump track which is just a bunch of little up and down hills for the little and they should be there since they are using the big obtancles just for Going up and down. It would be it safer for them I would it want three year olds in a skatepark unless no one else was there using it. These kids could get quite hurt
OK, I am not one to discourage any children in riding if they want to ride they should definitely be able to ride however I don’t think it really makes a lot of sense for like four-year-olds to be riding on grind rails and half pipes? Like maybe they should be practicing until they’re older for an advanced park like that one? It seems senseless and incredibly dangerous to have kids trying to ride full on ramps that young. Also that grind at 14:48 wow! Impressive scootering mate!
I don't even have kids and my parental instincts are higher. Okay, some guy is being a dick from my perspective, I'm moving the kids away from the situation as fast as possible.

At my skatepark kids under 10 years are not allowed after 6pm, but the park is still filled with 4 year olds and their parents sitting on curbs and not even watching their kids. I crashed into a girl because she just dropped in behind me as i was going backwards down a quarterpipe in a line. Her dad didnt know about the rules or basic park etiquette, instead of teaching his girl safety or let me tell her, he yells at me.

More context: (edit) thank you for the kind comments, it means more than you know. For almost 20 years I’ve been riding scooters because as a kid we were all taught you can grow up and be whoever you wanna be! Went for a bike ride at 9:00am and saw the whole crew out doing their thing. Totally awesome to see! Took my time in getting home, stretching, warming up at home, quick workout. Think I arrived at the park close to 11am. When she talks about me having to wait, or coming back, or whatever else.. I’ve done all of those things as best I can. The gang had lunch boxes out and open on 2 ledges, prams on the park?! I meeaan that’s cool I guess but if somebody with experience asks you polite to ready up is that justification enough for the cook out. You tell me?

karen make me laugh because every time, instead of arguing about the matter they carry out fallacious arguments by talking about you and your circumstances instead of the context and what the law says, like “you can't be here because you have to think about your own things, you have other things to do instead of being here", what does that have to do with what he told them? Great how you dealt with the situation. It's crazy how entitled people think they are. Back in the days I was a downhill rider. Even there people hiked the trails as they were "public" and for "everyone". Didn't take long for a bad accident, hikers blamed of course the bikers but ended up paying for the bikers... Now I have switched to paragliding , luckily people do not bother me anymore as we soar for whole days in remote places nobody is able to access by foot😊
11:21 thats crazy she literally is using the park as a playground and actually almost hurt the kid who was using it semi-"legitimately." Like encourage your kids to RIDE not to just play. This is like a SPORTS FIELD you wouldn't just let your kid play on a damn basketball court or baseball field if you knew players come around and practice... like where is their logic coming from? Other than maybe there are not enough regular parks, but thats why there's local park management and you can help create a better future by going to meetings... if they could build this nice park, they can put a playground in somewhere too. Oh, and maybe encourage the children to ride, learn about it and teach them. It's a lot more constructive imo.

They're misandrists and they just want to play with their kids like they used to play dolls, that's why they were hating you because you were the guy that they didn't want to see and they couldn't control you, but they had fun bullying you just like they bullied the one who stole their hearts & trashed their and they will bully the kids when they're in the mood for giggling at tantrums
@@Steve-t9owhen I was 14 I was getting bowled over by older skaters and bmxer’s. You’re talking to the wrong guy. I’m allowed to be upset when I know the cops will side with me re: standing/sitting/playing in the park. For what seems like the hundredth time, and the cops agree, RIDING on the park is fine. Playing on it is not.
1:51 😂😂😂 “You are cooking out!!” I had to stop a replay that bit over a few times because it’s such an accurate yet utterly hilarious way to describe this creatures behaviour
Bro watching you absolutely shred between encounters whilst also proving your point…. Chefs kiss
I like how at 12:12 there was a mum actually helping their kid skateboard up the ramps etc, other parents in the video just sit in the middle of the park and let their kids run wild. Glad it’s not like that at Washington way
I love how caring you are towards kids.
I feel so bad for the kids. Imagine having parents like that.
karen make me laugh because every time, instead of arguing about the matter they carry out fallacious arguments by talking about you and your circumstances instead of the context and what the law says, like “you can't be here because you have to think about your own things, you have other things to do instead of being here", what does that have to do with what he told them? XD
1:30, maam, the problem aint the kids for god sake, the problem is all those bikes and skates on the ground that impeed me to fully utilize this PUBLIC space, as you said, its public, not mine neither yours, so dont hoard the whole park for your kids and move your things out of the way, and if you are not skating, you may go outside and watch your kids from the distance, because you are not making use of the installations your self so you are just an obstacle I will have to skip.
Dang😂
@@Dexter-c9b I got really frustrated seeing that Karen being such a hypocrite and dumb.
Bro, I will say one thing - certainly sharpening the old reflexes, peripheral vision and spacial awareness with all those unpredictable moving hazards in every line!
Reminds me of the game "Paperboy" on the C64 😂
Those old cartridges were compatible with my gameboy sp. I played that and bubble bobble and kid Icarus. I got them at a garage sale. Pretty awesome games.
“You guys may want to stay away from me, I don’t think your parents like me” 😭
“The kids are supposed to be playing, it’s you whose the problem” 👏👏
14:07 hold that L grandma 😭😭😭
Sent me bro😂😂
if he ever conference a man I bet he will say I'm going to phone the police and it's on video
@@uonecarfunnily enough no dads were there because EVERY MAN WANTS TO BE FAR FAR AWAY FROM THEM (and you)
@@rhia_code i can see you got dad issues did he loves you or did he love you too MUCH
@@uonecar I can see that your husband doesn't love you 😆
1:53 "you don't tell people to move".......yet she's doing that same thing because ThE kIdS WeRe hErE fIrSt! so of course the moms can have a picnic all over the SKATEpark how sweet.....🤮 learn some park etiquette lady!!!! And take your kids to a fricken playground!!!!!
@@Joe-eo1uo real
you seem so genuine and chill but people cant just be chill back. hate the karens that do this type of stuff man. love your content
Honestly as a parent myself I couldn’t agree with you more Brad. First thing my daughter is learning if she ever comes to a skatepark is etiquette
The dad at the end was so chill just watching you practise and being curious about what trick you did such a chill dad, but that grandma just didn’t wanna be proven wrong and had a hissy fit about it
“Do you own a house?” Such a Karen thing to say when losing an argument 😂😂😂
Great how you dealt with the situation. It's crazy how entitled people think they are. Back in the days I was a downhill rider. Even there people hiked the trails as they were "public" and for "everyone". Didn't take long for a bad accident, hikers blamed of course the bikers but ended up paying for the bikers...
Now I have switched to paragliding , luckily people do not bother me anymore as we soar for whole days in remote places nobody is able to access by foot😊
I love how you're just cleaning up the park while she's on the phone with the cops lol massive W
Multifaceted entertainment 🤷
