I was at my local park in mid December, and haven’t been out riding in awhile. I went too carve a quarter and some little kid lost control of his skateboard and as soon as I was turning down the board took my front tire out. Slammed hard on my right side,rode for a bit longer. Now recovered from a broken rib 😅
Personally, I like hybrid (because the parks around me are all like that) and because it's easy for me personally to switch between the two at a moment's notice.

I remember there was this huge ramp and little kids where sliding down it as it were a slide, I asked all of them to please move out of the way because there is a lot of people doing tricks here. They responded with a VERY quiet OK and whent to the playground next to the skate park but after not even 2minutes returned to the ramp and I did not notice so I went over to do a trick and by the time I realised it was to late to stop as I could ran over a kid. I tumble into a kid that I had NICLEY AND CLEARLY TOLD TO NOT BE HERE AS IT IS DANGEROUS... I got a very big scar, needed stitches and my leg was fractured from hitting my scooter and the rail next to the ramp, the kid however just get a Tiny scratch. He started to cry. His mother who was not watching him ran up and started tu cuss and through hands at me, my friends tried to calm her down but did not succeed because of that woman no one believed what had happened and the mother started to tell lies and bad things about me. Eventually they left and an ambulance was called. I was just trying to protect the kids and be nice........
See heres the thing, I comepletely agree with what this guy is saying about all the little kids, but he shouldnt be talking about in right infront of them. I have a tad bit of social anxiety and I get really nervous when some adult or older teenager talks smack about me when im standing right there. One time my friends and I were at a skateboard park and we were just chilling there and some group of teens came up and kept talking smack saying stuff like "Someone kick these little kids out of here" Like just ask us to move jesus! And I know for a fact that him counting all the little kids tapping around there heads def gave some of them anxiety

so I was at a skatepark yesterday 31st of March 2024 and j get there and I'm the only one there "well I thought" 3 like 11 or 12 yr olds show up on BMXS and im 10 i was you know waiting my turn and one of them kids try to jump a box and he didn't land it very well so he said to me "ugh you gave me bad (luck) you b!tch" i looked at him DEAD in the eyes and said "yeah its my fault yeah right ain't no way its my fault I DID NOTHING DUDE" and i was at the park ALONE and he was ready to fight until his friend said locland let's head off home locland looked at me with a death stare i am 10 at a skatepark ALONE i had no other choice but to stand up for myself. then i leave the skate park and go to the town waterpark guess who's there the same kids that were at the skatepark i was a little timid about what might happen but my parents took me to the waterpark and relized those kids were hogging the slide (hogging means won't take turns or just 3keeps it to them selfs) my nan/grandma see's that so she comes over and says to the kids "STOP HOGGING THE SLIDE ITS NOT YOURS" man they got of really quick and decided to ask me "dO yOu WaNnA pLaY tIgGy" (tiggy/tag) i said no and your the kid that called me a b!tch so leave me be or go home they soon went home bc my nan is scary.

That is why (even though I am still a kid) I use bikes at high speeds and try to avoid people. My fav spots is named "Art Trail Hungary" in "Dabas" its a really solid bike, scooter and skateboard trail. If you want to find a cross country bike trail or scooter park then that is a really fun one
Roman I agree with you I am 10 but I dont usually go there but those kids should be stopped if they are into your way if you hit them by accident they will tell their moms or dads but it’s cringe tbh

i am not into scooter stunts like this nor have i ever been, but the grinding sound and the scooter landing on the ground are one of the top 5 most satisfying sounds ive ever heard.
im 12 and I understand I can’t swing peacefully these 8 yrs old have to come in my way and if they do it multiple times like 2-3 I won’t stop for them imma just keep swinging and let them get hit.
