I bought a car from Peugeot partner tepee from cars Direct in Peterborough and it’s been a nightmare. They are the worst company I ever bought from. They just had it 2 months and only just tightened the auxiliary belt. The suspension has a horrid creek coming from it. It’s had loads of new part like shocks, steering rack road ends, and lower plate. Still making a noise. It also has a problem with the cruise control, when setting at 70mph it’s it shows 62mph on the speedo, they haven’t done nothing. It really nice to see a garage like yours sorting problem out and doing proper service. I also bought a Renault trafic 68 plate from caravan and cars in brigg and they told me the van was serviced. Was heck the auxiliary belt shredded 3 weeks later, I took the air filter and it’s black as your hat. The oil on diagnostic shows the it’s deteriorating. So really isn’t nice for customers. Your showing me faith in good companies, I’m happy your doing so well. Thank you
Great news that your selling, selling, selling. As an outsider to the car business you don’t think about how much time has to be spent on prep. Then multiply that by numbers and your time is running out. I can see it’s a fine balance between prepping to sell and buying more to prep. What a game! You could do with some luck on purchasing some clean stuff that just needs minimal valet/ service and out the door. I do commend you for making the cars ‘right’ before they go out. If you get them at a good price sell them at a competitive price and work on them as honestly as you do you can’t go far wrong. A pleasure watching the videos ( I don’t know where you find the time) but it is appreciated. Dave Birmingham
The corrida red first generation Škoda Fabia is my favourite car here, I used to have the same model in black magic metallic. Great video, as always Lee, you’ve got some great stock there, I’m glad you’re doing well 😊.
Decent used car salesman seem rare these days. Glad to see you're doing well. I bought a 2009 2.2 diesel civic back in 2016 from a decent garage 52k on the clock. Still have it now 116k on the clock. Recently put a clutch and dmf in it. Apart from that and discs and pads etc it's been fine.
Old cars are great, for a start there's a lot less technology that will definitely go wrong regardless of the make and model. I've got a mk4 golf tdi, 2001, it's got 387,000 miles on the clock and still runs like a rolex. I drive over 100 miles a day in it and it doesn't miss a beat. In 22 years time there won't be a single car that's new today on the road with nearly 400k on the road because they're designed and built to fail long before that.
