- We have made it to the most laid-back island in Laos: Don Det! Don Det is part of an archipelago called 4000 islands in the south of Laos. After taking a bus and a boat to get here, we are excited to spend our last day in Laos cycling across the island, taking it easy, and enjoying the BEST sunset (we keep saying that, but they keep getting better somehow!) Thanks guys for another great video. Concerning a recommendation: Sumba Islands and especially Komodo Island in Indonesia. Unfortunately, I did not have time to go there during my Indonesia trip and now regret it. Not only is it beautiful, you have the opportunity to see Komodo dragons, manta rays. Moreover, I read that prices for visiting this island will go up significantly from 2023.
Else Bali, Lombok and Gili Island is always nice 😉.

Thanks guys for another awesome video. As for the suggestion for your next destination, I would recommend to avoid Malaysia until the end of the year. School holidays will begin from 11 December all the way till 2 January. It will be chaotic!

I heard great stories about Myanmar too. But i wonder if it is safe to go there now? Our government does advice you not to go there unless you have no choice. Or is this exaggerated?

@@2Passports1Dream I love it! I've been to many of the places you go to, but so long ago (like '80s or '90s!) that it's great to see what they're like now. Very different! I actually just came back from nearly 2 months in Thailand, motorcycling in the north and seeing old friends who live there. I hadn't been for 5 years. Way too long! I even hooked up Sean King (Vlogging a Dead Horse) in a couple of places and helped him do some vlogs. Great fun! Carry on with all your great work guys!
Did that border crossing about 20 years ago. Then it was much rougher since it was illegal to cross there as a foreigner. The only way to go was by boat and we had to bribe ourself both out of Laos and into Cambodia. 20 dollar/person was the going rate back then. But it was an adventure.

For Xmas, i wouldn't suggest the Philippines as its gonna be massive traffic jams. Maybe go to Borneo or Medan, Indonesia.

If not Singapore, then go Option 1 : Surat Thani is a nice little town to chill for a couple of nights (before you head onto the islands of Samui/Phangan/Tao) Surat Thani night market is a must. Option 2 - Go Koh Lanta or Koh Lipe.

Since you lived here (Netherlands) you can easy ride a bike, my Thai wife does, and yes it is very busy with people and bikes, but you can do it 💪 practise makes it work 😉
Anyway in the not released episodes... Dylan and Adriana made it across the bridge to the other island, but it turned dark quickly, Dylan left Adriana and peddled fast to get back to the hotel before sunset..... and there it was, Where is Adriana, see it in the next episode where we set out on the search for the lost Swedish woman on the 4000 islands. Great video! Even 20 yrs ago when i entered Cambodia on foot, I had to pay maybe $5 Canadian. I was just grateful to be admitted into the country, definitely not worth the fuss or delay in refusing to pay.

I believe more experience then my favorite place in the World Tokyo [ I hope you will explore Tokyo in 2023, I am planning my 3rd trip ] getting back to Singapore I am so surprised that so many do not do there home work in advance [ can save over 40%% ] my only reason to go is Universal Studio’s. You can find hotels in Chinatown starting at $$40.00 per night, also 1 in Little India. That is we’re I would stay hands down. Also see food specials in windows from other videos in Little India. Rewind. Love the rooftop pool I was waiting for Adrianna’s bed test and I also laughed. I herd the rooster so sad no pool. You can try by train from Jakarta to Bandung to see Tangkuban Perahu crater & Lembang area, then go to Jogyakarta to visit Borobudur & Prambanan temple, go to East Java to see Bromo Mountain and continue to Bali island, Lombok, Sumbawa, Labuhan Bajo Flores to see komodo/dragon, see Kelimutu Lake 3 colour lake, etc. You can Google all those photos the place that i write here.

Yes very possible. We are in a similar dilemma - we've decided to spend 10 Xmas days in Koh Lanta. Beautiful little islands to the South also. Then on to Siem Reap before Laos.

How was entry to Laos regarding covid rules guys?
To enter Laos (at the time that we entered) you either needed a vaccination certificate or a recent atk test!
I would like to suggest Myanmar but this is a bit dangerous and expensive too. I`d stay in Laos or Cambodia.
