I am really lost in life but due to having Asian parents I cannot bring up this concept.

Gap year is worth taking.......I highly recommend it. Take it from someone who has been around the block a few times. The wise ones know when it is time to step outside of the artificial pressure cookers we have created ourselves. I hope those watching this video will consider what it is saying!
I took a gap year as an au pair and loved it!
My mom doesn’t give a shit of what I want. Wants me to be a surgeon and she wants me to start NOW. Meanwhile I said I’m takig a gap year. It’s MY decision after all. And since she’s not gonna support me. I easily am moving out ;>
Sorry mom, there’s no way you’re getting in the way of me being and incredible travel photographer who’s gonna be writing incredible stories about my experiences. Oh and never forget that after getting enough experience I’d totally LOVE to be a professional speaker, all which my mother totes disagree with. Too bad, my my problem she doesn’t like it lmao
It’s Jay Jay good for you for doing what you want 🤗. But your mom just wants the best for you and wants you to be successful, but just didn’t come out right. Maybe just try explaining to her that this is what makes you happy and it’s your passion. Show her what you do, like take your child to work day, but it’s take your mom to work day 😂.
