I want to reinstall windows and just found this way of making a debloted ISO, but I was struggling to open the scrpt, but helped me to finally make it work!! thanks so much!!!!
It won't really make a difference because most of the registry entries that Rufus creates are already included in this iso file. If I were you I would just select the options that I want in Rufus, it's not really going to make a difference.
When I Run rufus on this TIny 11 created ISO, can i still use the options to remove 4gb limit, TPM, local account, auto reply no to installation questions?
@@memstechtips Well, 90 days evolution for now. The major reason I did get rid of Win 11 Pro was the introduction of Recall and what that does. Plus a bit of study about LTSC both on the web and TH-camrs, I felt it may be the correct way to go. Linux, as an alternative, is not for everybody since number one, you have to relearn a new operating system, second is ii may not be compatible with what I am used to use comes to software and thirdly, I am very comfortable in the Windows environment. Up to now, I must say, LTSC is all I need from Windows. Nothing except for just Windows is installed meaning all bloatware is gone, All AI and Recall nonsense is gone, I can use local account without trying to work around it. Plus it does give a lot of options comes to telemetry and privacy. I should also add, being "just Windows" it is lightning fast to boot, open applications, multitask and what not and compatible with everything I use so far. It may come with a cost however, which may not be suitable for all to get the key. I read at some place that you may look at around 200 Canadian dollars (not my currency but that is the info I have which may be wrong). For me it is OK, using my computer both for entertainment and professionally, but as mentioned, maybe not for all. I do however intend to "convert" all my laptops, two, and one tablet to the same Windows version. And I am curious how the tablet will do... But but, time will tell.
Nice video :) Are you usre it makes a difference by installing windows with the Tiny11 tool ? You check that ? What about do a little update with AtlasOS or AME11 to optimise more and more and do some bench ? I hate all those bloatware installed by Windows !
Thanks so much! It definitely makes a difference in the size of the Windows installation due to all the bloat being removed. Is it optimized for gaming and performance out of the box? No, that's why the CTT Winutil is needed for extra optimizations. I will maybe look at those other programs in the future, but I'm working on something myself at the moment. 😉
When I try to mount the windows iso it comes up as Couldn't mount file Sorry there was a problem mounting the file and I have uninstalled and renistalled the file and it does not work do you know how I could fix it?Thank you
You can install edge manually, and change update settings with CTT script. If you cant install any browser just start CTT script and choose browser and just install it.
If you enable Windows Update, an update will reinstall all the bloatware again. If you want Windows Update, don't bother making a tiny version. In fact, don't bother either unchecking your consent to share your data, because some updates will change your preferences without telling you.
But by following this video you should only be receiving security updates, right? Feature updates should be pushed back for 2 years. Also, to reinstall Edge, just use the Chris Titus Windows Utility like I show in the video.
@@memstechtips Answer, Enterprise, but the Enterprise iso uses install.esd, so i had to convert that to install.wim, replace in the iso file, then i could use Tiny11 builder on it. and now with gpedit you can remove the damn recommended section.

@@memstechtips It's crazy to me that MS wrecked their own permission system to guard this trash so closely. The Defender drivers are unremovable by any other means.

This is bad practice. Youre running a piece of software on a safe (yet bloated) image, without know what exactly its removing. Yes, the Windows 11 or even Windows 10 IoT LTSC versions are the best. But do you have a legal license? Do you have the official ISO or the Evaluation version? I can't really create videos on those versions because people will ask how to activate them and most people won't pay the price for an enterprise license. If I share other methods to activate it I'll get striked on TH-cam due to it being piracy. That's why I'm trying to show people how to get the LTSC experience on Pro or Home versions.
