My husband knows the best date nights are THRIFTING nights together! 😄💃 My kinda romantic evening haha! Today I'm going to take you on my date night and hit 5 Goodwill locations along with a small charity shop, pawn shop and even the Portland Flea Market! If you saw the thumbnail, you already know my find of the day but wait until you see my Goodwill Hauls!

Correction by types I mean that there are many holiday cacti that can bloom during certain times of the year.

The wooden piece looks like a traditional Asian wooden pillow. The aromatic odor from the bag of herbs or lavender would help with relaxation. Still popular in Korea today.
The wood thing with a potpourri bag was a pillow.. A lot of east asian still use that kind of pillow..

The canister you found is a Bennett Welch pattern called "Vine Maple". The plain mottled creamy pattern with a brown stripe is called "Oatmeal". I love his pottery and have fond memories selling it.

This picture of a clown is signed BABCIA which means grandma in Polish. Maybe some lovely older lady did it for her grandson or granddaughter in 1979. ❤

Oh no! There’s never been a problem as long as they’re out on the floor. Half the time the just roll them out to be picked through because then they don’t even have to add half of it to the shelves 😆
Some places are better than others when it comes to this. I’ve been yelled at for looking through a new rack of clothing. 😏

I have been an antique dealer since the 80's but I learn something new with every one of your videos. You have given me a new appreciation for mid-century which has definitely benefited my business.
Thank you Mary! Yes, it took me a really long time and I’m still learning and working on just being myself on camera. I’m a pretty goofy girl and sometimes I hold back but I don’t want fear to hold me back any longer 😄 This year I’m just gonna go for it!

I'd put a plant in that copper pot! My husband was a blacksmith until he aged. Those metal candle holders are mor than likely forged of steel by hand by a blacksmith.

Hi! I watched your video and went to a thriftshop a little later. And found almost the exact same ‘cardigan-thingie’ from Worldmarket. Same colors, same brand! In Holland! I never heard of that brand before, it’s not a well known brand in Holland. I thought that was very special. Unfortunately it was too small ☺️ I love your videos. 😘😘

I’ve thought about it! Still on the fence but not for that reason, more because I don’t have the time right now 🙃 But when we went this past week it really made me miss the people! That’s my favorite part of the flea markets. Getting to meet new people.
I believe Blue Mountain pottery was made at one time in a city called Collingwood Ontario. It has become collectible again and maybe there are some rare pieces to be found. Maybe even the polar bear one you found??
Further to the last post on Blue Mountain pottery. I believe the factory in the town of Collingwood Ontario was closed down in the 80's. The mountain part in the title was probably named for the famous ski hills near the town. It is a beautiful area within driving distance of Toronto.

My first thought when I saw the wooden elephant potpourri holder was how awesome it would be on a desk as a holder for pens and pencils/ art supplies if the holes were big enough. I would absolutely drill the holes a little bigger if need be then have my colored art pens in it :)
Like the colors in the trinket dish & the calla lily vase was pretty. Nice wicker basket, good video & haul, thank you💠that material was gorgeous @ the flea market.
I cannot believe the delicate squash blossom. Looks old and love the color of the turquoise. What a bargain!
