This video describes the efforts being made to utilize a two-tier cordon training system for grapevines. This training system is not in widespread commercial use but may have usefulness in future vineyards.
Доброго дня! Я взагалі початківець і тільки починаю вивчати цю тему. Але я бачив відео на каналі „Виноград Одеса“ . Там розповідали, що при двоярусному формуванні, через певний період часу плодоношення переходить в основному на верхній рівень. А нижній занепадає. Це повязують з властивісю винограду розподіляти плодоношення на переферію. Це саме ми використовуємо обмежуючи довжину рукава в кордоні приблизно до одного метра. Можливо я щось не правильно зрозумів вибачайти. Просто хотів взнати чи це проявилось у вас бо з моменту виходу відео пройшло вже багато часу.
A couple of thoughts: 1. When you picked the fruit with a harvester and the lower trellis was missed what type of harvester did you use I know that the old style Chisholm Ryder harvesters cannot get very low but the newer Korvan and Gregoire do get much lower on the trellis. 2. A disadvantage that I can see with the 7 ft trellis is work that needs to be done would require a person to use a ladder or standing on a trailer to reach the top wire. 3. If you could share any information on the shoot positioner I would appreciate it or if there is a unit in the Lake Erie region (NY or PA area I would like to see if I could watch the unit in a working vineyard also wondering how it would work on a vineyard that has slope or a slight terracing of the rows.
This looks great. Can you explain how this is different from the four arm Kniffins system?
