The Bermuda Triangle contains some of the deepest trenches in the world and is inhabited by all sorts of strange sharks including the cookiecutter shark. What interests you most about this shark?
Keep in mind back in the 70s, the US Navy had to send 30 Submarines back for maintenance because of these *Cookie Cutter Sharks* since they kept taking a bite of the Radar Dome that was made of Neoprene. They thought at first it was some Soviet secret weapon, when in actuality even the Soviets were dealing with the same issue. Now they use different material for the dome and other sensitive equipment so the sharks can't just take a chunk out of it.
@@sofwanlutfy4050 I think they might be talking about the incident where a Hawaiin swimmer was bitten in the abdomen by one during a competition in daylight.
I can’t wait to be a marine biologist in a few years, I’m in school for it now . I want to discover new and very strange species like the cookie cutter shark in my career!
Calling the cookiecutter a "terrfying shark" may sound like an overstatement, at first. But given the fact that it was able to bring down an entire freakin' submarine, I'd say it's more than well earned
funniest thing is they would just take chunks out of US navy submarines in the cold war. I think abt 30 had to be sent back to maintainence and the people would think it was a secret russian weapon
Only in the sense of how much knowledge we know compared to space and ocean. Space is MUCH bigger and we don't even know how far it stretches, we've only been able to observe some of it.
But we don’t. We know about thousands of species and have mapped a lot of the ocean. We can’t say the same about space. We don’t even know how far it goes.
I would not accuse the CK shark of ruthlessness, but when he pays you a visit, you will feel the power of the circular saw of the deeps! This one dude was sitting in an ER room, back too camera, and you could see fine details of the room in front of him, by looking through the hole in his shoulder. Even without pain, a creature attached to me would make me freak out. I can't imaging the freakout dance I would do if I looked down at my chest, and saw a CKS coming through, from behind!
Fun fact: The Burmuda Triangle has no more ship and aircraft disappearances than any other area in the oceans. The disappearances are only average there. The name was created for a movie and so was the legend.
Of course, lots of stuff, but nothing like some huge superpredator. There is not enough energy to sustain large, active, strongly muscled animals in the deep ocean.
I love you so much! This channel is hilarious, nice and genius 🤩 I want to try everything you do and have been a fan for atleast a year! Carry on making awesome content! ☺️😍💞💖

The CoockieCutter is a Night Hunter, although it's name interests me too.
The name interests me because it is definitely a strange and different name
Can I use him to cut cookies?
I think is cute
its name sounds cute... but it's not...=)

So true
Just read everything you said in a article
I wonder what happened to the sharks
That sounds so hilariously on brand tbh
“These sharks can be found at depths of 3,000 feet.”
Great, stay down there.
lmao
but there was a person who was bitten by that shark while swimming near the shore

I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say “a cookie!” so aggressively before.

This is so cool!!! What a specific niche to occupy. Truly only possible in the ocean since they can escape in any direction
Maybe it is time that the cookiecutter sharks got a taste of their own medacine.
Imagine that taking a bite on your back and u can’t reach with hands
