I don’t think I’ve ever commented on a video before, but super glad I came across your channel I love the content . I started playing golf 2 years ago and have gotten my handicap to 7-10 with just TH-cam as my coach. So it’s awesome to see someone committed enough to go through the process like I did but with coaches and all the other resources involved.
In my experience, the best advice I received early on was to respect the process and appreciate the big, but also the little improvements you make along the way, because trust me you’ll have lots of little ones. Also, be consistent and don’t be discouraged by a few bad days or even weeks!
    Best of luck!

I think these videos showing us your progression/journey are priceless! In particular, the subtle little “nuggets” of insight, knowledge, and wisdom from the various coaches/teachers that you’re learning from. A TRUE gift to those of us who are open-minded and “humble” enough to listen(and learn) from true professionals who have probably forgotten more about the golf swing than we could ever hope to achieve! Thank you sir.

New subscriber. Great sounding coach you got! I’m definitely going to ride on your coat tails with my journey. Only second year golfing and got all the concepts but not the fix if I’m doing it incorrectly. My nemesis is tempo. Tempo on=great day. No tempo no bueno!

Every swing counts, u got a good coach that's giving you the basics (learn to understand the physics behind it and KISS which is what golf is about - all putts, chip n pitch is low point 6pm n all other shots always low point at 7pm (your body is like a catapult). Keep grinding at it - solid ball striking n short game will bring your scores down quickly.
I started my stratch journey 2 years ago at 55 and got to single handicap - hopefully, with your determination n dedication, you will get there much sooner. Sub to watch your journey and have shared your channel with my golf buddies. I hope your sub grows quickly and your game improves fast. 🙏

Not 100% sure how how to calculate that :/ I’m also less than a month into my journey but one of my last videos was my first ever time on the course on 9 holes on a par 3 so maybe u can help me understand what my handicap is from that score? I’m a bit clueless around all that right now

@@JeromeRufin love this channel, you are doing really well and so quick to pick things up... The general rule for a handicap is the average amount of shots you play to over the course par. Most courses are Par 72 so an 18 Handicap would play to 1 extra shot per hole therefore playing a 72 course to 90. 9 Handicap would play par 72 to 81. Scratch would be playing the round with zero extra shots so their score would be 72.

Hi Jerome. Mike is good; but did he tell you the significance of the little trail finger and why ever great golfer should become aware of it?
Actually the accelerating weight of your traveling club head is holding your hands and wrist back if you allow it to pull against your trail little finger until it cannot hood your hands and wrist back anymore at the point your club becomes shallowed into its plane of action to strike through your ball
So you and every golfer in the world should know that the real golf swing is angular momentum.
It is the simultaneous swinging of your club in a linear direction combined with a rotational direction. Like love and marriage; you can’t have lineal direction without rotational direction in a real golf swing. Separating the two distinct directions from the other is why most of the golfer in the world are at best boggy golfers. And keeps golf instructors very happy.
To achieve this essential complex diagonal swing simply know that your swing centered circle is anchored on the grip of your club by your trail little finger.
The Trail Little Finger is the only part of your body that your brains can sense the weight of your club head consistently traveling on it’s slanted circular path directly to and through the ball.
****Far more importantly the trail little finger is the only part of a your body which can actually hold the L shape of your trail arm at it maximum point until the propelling weight of your club head overpowers your trail little finger causing the desired sling shot effects of the club head directly through your ball and finally lifting you up to your beautiful swing each and every time.****
Swinging your club back and forth with your trail little finger will also fold and unfold your body and direct both your body and your club head to achieve the real golf swing of angular momentum.
If what I said makes perfect sense to you give me a❤️. And should you speak of it further; just mention my name as no one has ever explained exactly how easy it is to achieve angular momentum in a golf swing with your trail little finger. Cheers ⛳️👍😃🥂

@@joelmartin6329 to feel the weight and momentum of the loft ( head of any club) start with your trail hand little finger to twirl your club in a full circle as I showed on my video and then swing your club back and forth after you are set up to do your actual swing th-cam.com/users/shorts0qbKZEMBxWA?feature=share
      Hope this helps. Cheers 😊🥂👍😍

Dude the idea of scratch is kind of insulting. This is like saying I am going to get a basketball coach and join the a pro team..maybe someday but you are looking at so much experience that you just aren't going to get without time on the course.

Clearly it’s unlikely to happen in the short term, however this is a great experiment. Imagine how quickly we’d all improve if we practiced strategically as opposed to just bashing buckets on the range. That’s my takeaway from this channel
