Korone might be doing a better thing than she realizes. From what other Holomems have said, Ayame seems like a fairly anxious and jumpy person, something I identify with. Providing her with a plushie to hug probably makes her feel much more relaxed and comfortable. Korone is extremely considerate and caring, so it makes sense she would do something to help her friend without even knowing it. She really is man's (demon's) best friend.
