    I have tried three different cages and now I'm just using it without a cage when I don't absolutely need it. If I need a cage, then it's probably best to grab a bigger camera.

      I keep the cage for going handheld. The extra weight helps keeping it stable

    Oh and btw. Zoom F2 works nicely with BMPCC as it's very small. Obviously there is no way to use XLR mics with it but all normal video mics with plugin power will work.

      I haven't tried the F2, but heard a lot about it. It seems to be a nice compact option to keep the rig small and light weight. Does sound better or is it similar to the H1N?

      @@HQFHasanQureshiFilms I'm not familiar with H1N. Compared to H5, I think at best it sounds equal. If I go back and forth between noisy and quiet environment I can sometimes hear a jump on the background noise level, which I believe has to do with the dual AD circuit. The cool thing is that you just don't need to care about adjusting gain, which is nice when running solo.
