This is funny, you are reading the stars, Typhon is Seth, in the stars The Big Dipper, he is the husband, of Taweret, who we call Draco, standing the the head of Draco is Hercules, but in ancient times "The Sitting Dog", the mighty hero of Bau-Gula, goddess of Dogs. Seth is the Big Dipper, his son is the Little Dipper, the Wolf headed Wepwawet, brother of Anubis.

I am a Muslim with a strong western culture background. Meaning I am influenced by western culture not that I have a strong culture of course. As I see it, the same messages have been passed, told and interpreted by men. Although each one's biases alter how we perceive and understand these timeless stories and inspirations, I feel the underlying commonalities. Ultimately I believe our disagreements are our own doing and the message is the same, the philosophy is the same. I wish Islamic culture and the book of Quran weren't taboo in the west. It would allow the westerners to enrich their understanding. It would make that knowledge more available and discussed in the culture that influenced me most. It seems to be the easiest way to an all accepting culture as the cultures of Islamic countries I find a bit close minded, clinging to the word and forgoing understanding of the underlying, common truth and philosophy. Let's see who wins this openmindedness race.
The Quran is not “taboo” it is quite blatantly full of hateful and murderous ignorance intermixed with wisdom that genuinely helped the desert nomads who lived centuries ago achieve social cohesion. The Kyballion is a really good place to start. It is clear and well-organized, and avoids a lot of the BS that exists in other works. (This field has many, many rabbit holes and traps.) You might consider "The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean" at some point as well.

I was under the impression based on mercury being associated with the rogue and the symbol being on modern hospitals that Hermes was the extreme of mind that was not wise as much as intelligent. After watching this I'm glad to see that the definition of wisdom by those who are not yogi's is not to better see both sides as that is empathy/compassion but rather what they saw as the concepts known through scholarly pursuits, the yogi's would have associated it with finding simple solutions to things without as much of a requirement (the art of doing more with less). Here he is characterized as a scribe that has an intent towards the spiritual through reason. He would have been the one who protects Horus during his despite against set, similar to how zues would have been watching over Hercules, implying this archetype liken to king David or lord of Jewish kings. Why has it taken me so long to see? Where Horus is the emotions and dual nature that appears at the end and beginning of cycles liken to the moon during harvest and great spiritual war, Hermes was the angel of science, scholarship and philosophy who was known as Lord of the merchants and thieves in modern Greek etymology "mercury". An interesting video that explains the connection between Lord of merchants/thieves and magic which would have been the method.
