Welcome to the second part of this backstory episode. In the last video we covered several things about Andross, but mainly touched upon his appearance in Star Fox 64, The Star Fox manga, farewell beloved falco and also Star Fox Adventures. In this video we will talk about his appearance in Star Fox Command, The SNES games Star Fox and Star Fox 2, and the other Star Fox manga and comics. Andross (アンドルフ, Andorufu, Andorf), sometimes known as Dr. Andross is the main antagonist in the Star Fox series, and is the arch-nemesis of Fox McCloud. He is an evil mad scientist who is highly skilled in technology, telekinesis, and tactics. His forces have tried to take over the Lylat system many times. Exiled to the distant penal planet of Venom for his destructive and dangerous experiments with bio-technology, the mad scientist Andross has recently resurfaced as the supreme commander of a seemingly unstoppable military force. Striking without warning, his invasion fleets have overrun the minimal defenses outposts of the many planets in the Lylat system, and are even now attacking the most populous world in the system, Corneria. As a scientist on Corneria, Andross specialized in bio-technology and space warps. It is theorized that exposure to his own deadly experiments may have driven him mad. In the time since his exile, who knows how his continued experimental work may have affected him?

Andross has some twisted backstory. He planted a bomb in James car so that the widowed Vixin would be his but she got into the car instead and the rest is history.

I bet people forget this was pre 2017 before Nintendo officially released the authorised version of Star Fox 2 on SNES mini (and subsequently on the NSO).
If Andross has a grandson, then this must mean he has a son or daughter who must've hid away from Andross. Could there be more to the story in the new game? Cause there could be been more to his origins. It feels like the Emperor Palatine plot all over again in the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

I think the face in the snes version was Andross's alt account but then Fox cancelled his alt and the ape face is his main account and his brain was his other alt.

I think starfox SNES and starfox 64 are different timelines
The SNES timeline andross's experiments made him Into a cube which can take on multiple forms
The SNES timeline leads to starfox 2
The starfox 64 timeline is andross experiments where he is a brain
Thus going to starfox adventures and assault

Star Fox on SNES up to the unreleased Star Fox 2 is a different canon from Star Fox 64 up to Command or Assault (if Command isn't canon, that is). Therefore Star Fox 64 was a reboot of Star Fox SNES.
And quite oddly enough, it's being rebooted again in the form of Star Fox Zero for Wii U - proof of this is shown by the facts of it not being a sequel nor prequel and that many similar things from Star Fox 64 such as the level design, character designs and famous quotes are present. Plus they have the vehicle transformation feature from the unreleased Star Fox 2.
Maybe after being defeated in the original star fox game he did some more experiments.
This is a sweet concept. You should do Lisa Trevor from the Resident Evil series. Her backstory is sad, freaky and fucked up all at once lol Nice job.

Every star fox game has different storylines, reboots
Star fox 1- star fox 2(the original only canon timeline)
Star fox 64 to assault(he appears in star fox 64 and adventures, but he doesn't appear in assault)
Star fox zero(a reboot of a reboot)

Did you know that in the European version of star fox for snes, the cube with a picture of Androsses face on it does not have blue pyramites on the bottom or top of it?
(And you can trust me about this, cause i,m from Sweden)
In the US version, the pyramids only appear on route 3 to make it harder to hit. On routes 1 and 2, it's just the cube. Cheers!

I like to pretend Star Fox Adventures never happened... This series could have so much more content too. Instead Nintendo keeps making a hundred new Mario and Zelda games
Personally, Adventures should be Canon in the series. The problem that plagues this game though: is how rushed it’s Production was! The game is awful, the story’s execution is lackluster and ineffective, and Krystal’s role was seriously reduced! Had Miyamoto allowed Rare to finish Dionsaur planet their way, then they could’ve easily have pushed for a Crossover narrative or integrate Sauria into the Starfox Universe to further expand both series.

So, is Starfox SNES not canon? 64 is considered the true beginning of Canon and is not a sequel to SNES.
64 would be a remake of SNES so they should both follow the same story

I just found out some thing Andros's and star dream have the same move set well star dream wen he took over the space stashon and fly's into the air to fight Kirby and I saw the in hale move like Andros's but in star fox nes he star dream phase 2 he trys to inhale you and in the true arena he inhales meteor's to fire back at you and in the true arena star dream phase 3 in the true arena Kirby fights the heart of nova which is like the Andros's core in star fox nes how does he fight it by getting inhale to fight it like Andros's

maybe the Andros's for star fox 1 was the real Andros's before the turn into a monster in the unus star fox 2 were it was a robot core and the Andros's from the first game was control the core like Andros's now back to star fox 2 I'm thinking fox was surprise to see Andros's but he's a monster so fox attack him and bet him but the monster Andros's was still alive and starts making a new plan and rebuilds his base
maybe Andros's from star fox 1 & 2 were decode like robots now in star fox games Andros's was waiting for the right time to attack the real one now a days he does not us this decode plan so he fight head on now
