what do you do when you get front wheel speed wobbles during high speed descent?
Pressing your knees against the top tube can help calm the resonance in the frame, at least enough that you can safely apply the brakes. If your bike does that often, you also might want to check your headset as well as your fit on the bike, though some frames just don't handle high speed descents well. I would occasionally get speed wobble on my old aluminum trek 1500, but all my frames since then haven't had issues.

I counted three pro teams headed up the mountain
I thought I recognized this descent from Benissa down to Calp - I did it a couple of times at a training session in April 2024. Scared myself the second time because I got too cocky and drifted too wide over the white line in the middle of the road but I got away with it. Would have ended badly if it had been in the UK.

I remember the Giro that Dumoulin won. There was a descent with switchback hairpins and Nibali was riding like a madman. I’ve looked for it everywhere but I’m amazed nobody has uploaded it.
