If you're into it I can provide a little bit of backstory here: The video was shot between two days and both days it was about -26° F during what was called a "Polar Vortex" in Duluth, MN....so we were all freezing our asses off and loving it (probably.) The camera batteries actually needed to be warmed by body heat just to try to function. The first day was just the band and a few key people, including me and some close friends of the band. (I’m the tall dude in red with a helmet on who nails the singer.) The second day was with all of the people that wanted to show up from an open casting call, and some poor sap during that day lost one of his Chucks. i got a text from Dan Carle like 2 weeks before they were going to shoot and I was beyond amped.
Seeing this song live got me into this band. I’m a musician myself, I play bass, and hearing those pinch harmonics got me hooked. I checked out the studio version and he nailed every pinch live
New setup is looking good bro, glad to see the reactions are working out for ya, its nice knowing I've been supporting you since you were a smaller channel and to get to watch you grow and be successful. I'm happy for ya, also, explaining your affiliates was a good idea imo. Its better to just be straight up and honest with people about it. Great job as always \m/
Yeah and I should have told people sooner. Literally nobody clicks those links. They have analytics for it on Amazon. I average like 5 clicks a day on 20k views a day on the channel. I think I average about 50 cents a week in commission
@@Hoopsick yeah Id say the whole affiliate thing has just been over-saturated in the past few years, because everyone does it. I've seen channels that had like 30 links on one video haha. But hey maybe now that you mentioned it someone will use it when they are going to buy something on amazon anyways. I definitely will when I need something from amazon, no reason not to help out if I'm going to buy something, just another way to say thank you because I enjoy your content. Agreed. I saw these guys live last night, and I wish I had listened to them beforehand because I would have wanted to record this song. Their guitarist is a machine, being able to hit all those pinch harmonics consistently and so accurately.

please listen to any song that isnt this one nor all of the Dig Deep album. Listen to the albums Rareform, In Dreams, and Wolves Within. Specifically you need to listen to the song Berserker. This band is so much more than a metalcore band and you haven't seen one bit of what they're capable of. ATB is my favorite band but I can't lie and say this is a good intro song, and the whole last album is just not that good compared to all their other older stuff.

Thanks for concerns. For me summerian records has been the 2nd easiest label to deal with. I've only had 1 song ever out of probably 20 that they didn't release the copyright on after I contacted them. I've never had them block a video. So it was a normal upload for me. If you've heard about them blocking and striking videos, that just sounds like someone trying to get you to sign up for their patreon or they don't puase during their reactions
This is honestly one of my least favorite songs by them. I recommend checking out Exit, Exist or Laurentian ghosts. Absolute bangers without any awkward videos to throw you off 😂
