The Title track “EAT” is about Poppy’s experiences and the thoughts that went through her mind while she was battling with her eating disorders in the past. Say Cheese is most likely about the fake smile that poppy had to put on for years during her older pop era where she wasn’t really doing what she wanted to do in terms of music and her style. CUE’s message is quite similar to Say Cheese. I think the last two can be open to interpretation by the listener!
That's definitely my take on Say Cheese, but on a more personal note about her life with her former partner as well. CUE to me is an anthem commenting on the insanity of the previous presidency and its manipulation of the masses. Breeders is pretty self-explanatory, and Dark Dark World is more calling out of the hypocrisy of this dystopia we've all created. My girl is deep.
Poppy is awesome, most everything she did was great even her childhood pop covers b4 “that poppy” most of those are hard to find but they are out there. “Am i a girl” is one of her songs you really might like.

yes, NXT soundtrack reminds me of bands like Cerce and Gouge Away which are hardcore alternative bands.. Poppy also made albums to Sleep to and Read to which i like to listen to sometimes when i need to relax or concentrate on something. I like Breeders to on this album...i am interested to see how your other reviews go.

Yes, definitely include the four tracks on the deluxe version, but keep in mind, Don't Go Outside was the closing track on the original for a reason.
You are in for a wild ride, as no two Poppy releases are alike, but they are all great in their own way.

These songs are also ment to be background music for wrestling. I bet say cheese is great for that purpose
