That's one of their meanest tunes to me. So I will go so far as to say I agree with ya my friend!!! I am working on Thunderhead hoping to bring that out in the next month or so and I have to admit, that's a bad ass tune as well
There are some drummers that are just a ton of fun and joy to watch play every time their new vid comes out, and you my brother are at the top of that list. There's something unique to your approach to the kit and your style that oozes the kind of showmanship, intensity and professionalism that only the true pros can bring out in a performance, and you consistently bring that in spades!! It's like watching your favorite team's linebacker crush the opposing running back at the line of scrimmage, to force a turnover. The kind of "YEAH!!" you feel when there's open road ahead and you're behind the wheel of a supercar, slamming the pedal to the metal. Yup, it's like that.
Dan buddy, the fact that you took the time to say that is something that goes past me just saying thank you. I read this twice and please know it's humbling as hell. But it's single handedly inspiring. If it brings you a smile, please know that alone makes me grateful. If some of these resonate even more, that's reason enough to keep on going on here man. For real Dan. This comment is the absolute bomb bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I'll never sit down and have blinding licks but if my love (or even aggression) for playing comes through, GOD that makes me smile. Same way I watch you hit like a freight train and I know you are feeling what you are doing bro 🤘🤘🤘🤘
You’re like a Mad Max on drums!! Great stuff! Especially when I just lit one! Yeah!! You know you’ve made it when your hihat is almost higher than the crash cymbals! Lol
🤣🤣🤣 I'll take it buddy! If you can time my vids right after you light up, it can't hurt LOL! I'll take any help I can get HAHA! MP bud, I hope you're doing great and thank you for the smile and the awesome comment bro 🤘🤘🤘
The Frankie Banali love is strong in this one, Trey. Some masterful bashing, and a song from my favorite WASP album no less. Monstrous fills, tasteful double-kick interjections, an inspiring level of energy … in short, everything I look forward to every time you release a new video.
Well said James… and you took the words right out of my mouth! LoL If it’s pronounced balls to the wall… Pedal to the metal…or Up the Irons, It’ll pretty well all describe how he plays.. Trey! 🤟😎
James bro, I was saying in a different comment how it amazes me this is Banali. He had so much more range than Quiet Riot would indicate. QR gave off the Bonham-esque vibe but this???? This is a metal version of Keith Moon. The fills throughout this record blow me away. Just massive energy dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘 Appreciate you so damn much James!!!
WOW,a forgotten gem,I was 15 when this album came out,THE HEADLESS CHILDREN,what a kick ass record,my favorite by WASP!!And oh yea what a great drum track bro!!
Yo Ray!!! We're close in age and I got this cassette during the grunge era. I still remember Thunderhead being the track that I heard and I really took notice. But I should have been more aware of how impressive it was after I knew it was Frankie Banali. You and I remember all too well, we used to have to read liner notes or wait for Metal Edge to come out with an article. I want to say it was a drumming friend who told me and I didn't even believe him. But most everything out there online still says he was the studio drummer. The one thing I did read later was that they (Blackie) were striving for The Who vibe. When I read that, it made a hell of a lot of sense. The busy nature of so many tunes on that album on the fills lends itself to exactly that. My apologies running behind on the reply and my sincere thanks for the kind words dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Aw dude, that's insanely f'n cool of ya to say. I sincerely appreciate you being kind enough to just watch let alone leave such kind words. James buddy, hope you have a great weekend!!!!
Beating those drums like a red headed step child!!!! Nice!!!! I don't know what to say about that offering I haven't already said a hundred times before?!?!?!? It was absolutely abusive!!!!! Like me, you must fo through snare heads!!!! My inner black dots just explode and I think you hit harder!!!! Always such an awesome pleasure to watch you play and beat the living crap outta your kit for our entertainment!!!! Still my favorite drummer on TH-cam!!! The one to watch for sure Trey!!!!! ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED ~ Maximus (gladiator, General of the Roman Army) and of course........Trey B (modern day gladiator/drummer)
😂😂🤣🤣 No fucking way I hit harder than you Marcus. But I'll send you a pic of the last snare head that gave in. It was ugly dude 😂😂😂. When that happens live, there's nothing you can do about it either. But in all honesty I don't slam through those too much (thank God because inflation has them at 22 bucks a head or something stupid like that HAHA!) Marcus, I'll tell you the same thing I've said a hundred times - I appreciate you, I respect you and I thank you for being YOU dude 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I feel so inferior when I watch you play. You have so much talent on so many different genres of songs. I sat and watched this entire video with my jaw dropped. Now if you would just do that Godsmack song and stop farting around with these oldies. 🤣😂 Always a fan Trey!
Bryan buddy, I will give that one a go. I listened to it last weekend and just about threw it in. It is cued up and I'm gonna try and hit that one in the next few weeks. Can't be farting around with too many oldies 🤣🤣🤣🤣 During your break, feel free to DM me bro. Always a friend dude 🙏🙏🙏
EARL!! I rolled over and 10cc - yep! Got the Queen flavor. But Joanna is honestly probably my fav Kool And The Gang tune bro. On this cover, it was a grip and rip job LOL! So I sure appreciate the kindness Earl 🙏🙏🙏
Apparently I have been living under a rock, because I have never heard of this band. I checked the Internet it says that WASP has been active since 1982, and they are having their 40th anniversary fall tour 2022 in the US! Trey, once again you have given us an awesome video! ROCK ON TREY!!! 😉 💖🔥🔥🔥🔥
So if they had been looking for a young, energetic drummer in 1982, I probably wouldn't have been their guy since I would have been 6 or maybe 7 depending on what part of the year they started LOL!!!!!! First grade schedule was rough. In all seriousness, they are hit or miss with a lot of people and I'll be curious to see what you think of their other stuff. This particular album wasn't anywhere near their pinnacle but I did really like the drumming on it. I wanna say this came out in 1991 or so and I was just starting to play. All those fills were fun to try and replicate. YOU ROCK Charlene!!!!
I'm pretty excited that they are touring America again. I say that with no intention of going to a show but it sounds like I might doesn't it? 🤣🤣🤣 Nah dude, I dug these cats. My 80s picks can be predictable but also a bit off the wall. Ever heard of Salty Dog? Blues band and I wanna think they were LA based. Check out a tune called Come Along if you get the chance - just good ol' fashioned ass kicking rock drumming 🤘🤘🤘. That's one of probably 30 bands I liked from LA. Bang Tango, Faster Pussycat, Life Sex & Death came from Chicago but broke from LA, freaking LOVED Shotgun Messiah by their 2nd album as Tim Skold took over. Their 3rd album is brutal and I think it's an amazing album by today's standards. And it sounds nothing like where they started. Only band I can think of that did that dramatic of a shift.
@@TreyBDrums I’m definitely going to check them out, I have a guy I was in a band with in the early 80’s that moved to LA in 83. I would have loved to go to the Whiskey or Gazarri’s during that time. He’s played the Whiskey a few times. Now I’m retired I might have to pop in on him. Been to San Francisco a few times but never southern Cali. Keep ‘em coming Brother that was HOT
My sincere apologies for the delayed response my friend! I sure, sure appreciate you being so kind and supportive. Same for me on the time it had been since I last really (like REALLY) listened to it. I finished that and I wanna think I did 4 takes. Banali's playing on this is something I just didn't appreciate like I should have. It's outstanding (to me). My sincere thanks and I hope you have a great weekend my friend! 🙏🙏🤘🤘👊💯
Hey Stefano! I sure, sure appreciate that. I just flat appreciate you being so kind as to watch. I hope there are some other tunes on the channel that ya dig and always feel free to drop suggestions. I try to read them all. Hope you have an awesome weekend & again, my bad on the delayed reply Stefano 🙏🙏🤘🤘
His voice is unique as hell. Admittedly dude, I'm a Chris Holmes guy and gravitate more to the guitar work on this. But this album made me a fan of Frankie Banali where I wasn't really into Quiet Riot. He seemed to distance himself from the band but I would have loved to have told him that his work on this one made an impression on me. Appreciata ya Andrea 🤘🤘
What I love about your channel is everytime I visit to watch a new cover I know I am going to be blown away. You truly are in a league of your own. Incredible performance as always. Enjoyed.
Bill, Bill, BILL!!!!! That's humbling and so incredibly kind buddy. I am stoked to see you back in the comments and I'm loving that you're coming back with new content!!!! Most of all, I am grateful you take the time to be so supportive. I mean that Bill 🙏🙏🙏
Hey Daniel!!! Great to hear and thank you so much for being kind enough for continuing to watch. I don't come in with an array of blinding chops so passion / heart / effort - yes sir! If that's what comes through I am one happy dude. Appreciate the hell out of ya buddy 🤘🤘🤘
I've hit an oldies stretch Chris 🤣🤣🤣 BUT - it has been fun to listen to some of this stuff dude. I was listening to late 80's Testament yesterday. That shit stomps ass dude. Appreciate you so much my friend
That's a TOTAL back at ya! I was so damn happy to see you take on the Jimmy C masterpiece dude! But YT recommended the other video I watched and Myke, you are in a different kind of zone on Hippie Digger. Jesus H Christ that's some gnarly licks 😲😲😲
@@TreyBDrums thanks, man, that’s a fun one! Really glad you checked it out, I’m really proud of how that record turned out. I did the bass, guitar, and synth on that, too! 😊🤘
Oh GOD it does like like PJ's 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Plaid pants but I'm liking that it has a pajama vibe! I have cut drums for people and it's been on these really heavy songs or metal-ish things and I'll think "I tracked that song wearing what I got out of bed wearing" HAHA!!!!! I keep my 90s pants and shirts around. That shit is still so comfortable
Man, their main days in the sun were behind them by the time I was introduced. It was this album and by the time I heard it, Nirvana and company had already taken over. So I was obviously listening to the Seattle bands but I ran with a Walkman and I'd keep everything from Johnny Cash to Skynyrd to Ozzy to W.A.S.P. in that thing. I remember listening to Extreme's Pornograffiti on repeat for like 3 weeks. Telling you, we lived through a damn good time to be a fan of music (is this the point where I go outside and tell kids to get off my lawn? 😂😂😂😂)
Yo Jason! Bro I sure appreciate it 🤘🤘. I'm just really f'n stoked that it's gotten a little response and some views dude. I mean that - I figured this one would be a bit off the wall and not too many views. Hope you're doing great, hope there are some other tunes on here ya dig and hope ya stick around my friend. Appreciate it bud 🙏🙏💪🤘🤘
What's up my friend? Admittedly it has been a welcome change to at least get back to being able to get the consistency back. Work always makes things tough but I really do enjoy trying to keep weekly content. I really can't tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to say you still get a sense of an individual style. I've even toyed with doing a video on that subject. I love doing covers just because generally they are songs that I like but I always want at least a sense of individuality to come through. I hope you have a great weekend and thank you so, so damn much for the kindness and support 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Oh shit ! U did It ! Thanks so much, bro. According to the style of the play drums, I do not know if Frankie Banali or someone else did it. In any case, Frankie is one of the greatest drummers in history. May the our memory be down to him, amen and RIP.
He is gone far too soon. I always thought Banali was a Bonham type player that really brought it on just a fat pocket type vibe. And with that said - he did. But this whole album is a real awesome display of creativity up top with the fills. Dude was vibing all out on this from opening track to the end
100% Frankie on The Headless Children. Frankie wasn't an official member of WASP at that point and considered an "additional musician" on the album's credits, he also toured with WASP for that album but left to do other projects after the tour and was replaced by Stet Howland as the studio musician for The Crimson Idol but Stet was only playing what Blackie wrote and to be fair Blackie isn't the greatest writer of drum tracks, go listen to older albums, very basic stuff. Frankie was hired as their full time drummer midway through the Crimson Idol recordings and was given full reign to rewrite the drum tracks any way he wanted in much the same way Ozzy gave Tommy Aldridge his blessing to rewrite the drum tracks that Lee Kerslake recorded for Diary and Blizzard for subsequent live shows and album re-releases. Howland's background percussions are still on The Crimson Idol and he's credited as an "additional musician".
Also gotta add that Frankie's replacement Aquiles Priester is AMAZING! Plus he has the most impressive and beautiful kits I've ever seen, the metallic silver/white Tama kit with red Paiste 900 Colorsound cymbals is almost too pretty to be beaten like they owe a loan shark money.
What up Mr. Mike!!!!! Bro thank ya so much for coming over and checking it out!! For real, I appreciate that so much. As always, I'm waiting to see what's next from you. It's a beautiful thing knowing that no matter what you roll with - I know it will kick major ass dude 🤘🤘🤘. The mix on this is kick / snare heavy so I appreciate the kind words on that side. I was afraid I'd overdone that part LOL!!!!
Dude that's super / incredibly kind of you. This one was fun to do. I'm still thinking I missed a few things but I'm leaning more toward songs like this where there's a bit more improv and flow as opposed to trying to memorize stuff (older I get, the harder and less appealing that is 😂😂). Sincerely dude, I appreciate you and thank you for the support 🙏🙏🙏
Cheering with Woodford eh? Now THAT sounds like a plan Rich! I'll check the cupboard as I believe I'm out - but I should have some back up options 🤣🤣🤣 Appreciate you so much Rich!!!!
This started off with a bang and kept going on Trey! So many great licks in this and that energy is insane! Absolutely awesome job, so great! Love it, keep rocking my bro!🥁🤘🤘
What up dude? This one comes out punching LOL! It got me digging around looking for songs with similar vibes. That type of tempo where it pushes and it's got some aggression that comes naturally without overdoing it is super SUPER fun to try and play dude! Hope you are doing great my friend
What up Alan! Ireland huh? That's awesome!!! Greetings back at ya from the Bourbon capital - Kentucky in the USA. Awesome of you to check it out and I hope there's some other stuff on the channel ya dig my friend! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Adam dude, that's s sneaky little fill 🤣🤣🤣 Starts with that Portnoy (esque) 2 down / 4 up but rolling out, when it slides down to those singles it gets interesting. It's like going from 4th gear to 2nd pretty fast. Granted, my gears get average speed LOL but still, fun and effective way to get almost 2 different voicings in a short span. AWESOME that it caught your ear bro 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dude I'll be the first to say I'd kinda like to see it just because it's been so damn long since Lawless has played an American stage. I just wish he had Chris Holmes with him and he won't. Chris Holmes is the real deal. Bro, you have now converted me to a Ghost fan. It's done - that song you did last was melodically incredible
@@TreyBDrums By the way I just saw Ghost live a few months ago again and they were fantastic but now they’re going out on the road another time over the summer hitting all smaller cities or b markets and this time they’re taking out mastodon talk about an incredible doublebill
Just so good man. From those opening fills to the solid beat you are laying down. That snare just sounds humongous! If I were Wasp's drummer, I'd be afraid LOL! Awesome performance brother!!!
Kelly buddy, I'm so sorry I'm running so behind. When you read this, you'll either be (a) at NAMM or (b) just back from NAMM. Either way, I hope you have a great time and keep us informed of what's new and awesome!!!!! Dude, WASP's current drummer is Aquiles Priester. Telling you dude, he alone would be worth the ticket price to go see them in the States this fall. He is amazing Kelly! Travel safe my friend 🙏🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
Wow! Flawless performance of this song. I am entirely impressed. Also intrigued by your set up, with your hi hats so high and your toms so low. Absolutely crushing performance that reminds me how incredible Frankie Banali (I'm pretty sure it was Frankie on this one) was. Thanks for posting!
What's happening my friend? To my knowledge, this was the Banali period. I thought it was interesting that he rarely talked about his time in W.A.S.P. because man..........I thought this was some of his best stuff. He played so aggressively but so musically. It was like he was paying homage to Keith Moon in his own way. On the set up, I think it's the end result of guys like Banali. I just loved those flat / cool looking kits on big stages and always tried to emulate them. Tommy Lee, Sean Kinney, Morgan Rose - those are three that come to mind anyways. LOVED when I'd go to their shows and the second I could see the kit, I'd get goosebumps. Anyways, sorry for blabbing and running behind. Can't tell ya how much I appreciate the support! 🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums Agreed. Frankie tore it up on the Headless album. I'm surprised he didn't talk more about it, because it was definitely his best playing. FYI, as far as the set up goes, another drummer who did that was Vikki Foxx of Enuff Z'nuff. Not a heavy band, but he was a fun drummer to watch live (and clearly a Motley fan).
I think this is the first full WASP song ive listened to. Looks like I have some more on the playlist for tonight now 🤘 Also that upwards cymbal hit at 3:55.. So sick!
I need to do a cheap infomercial. "Hey there fellow drummers. Tired of hitting your cymbals like this? (Normal way) Well how about this? (from underneath) Take my course for just 24.99 today!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Yeah some of their stuff should be totally up your alley dude! Love Machine lyrically is some cheesy shit but drum wise it's fun as hell. I Wanna Be Somebody - that's your ticket. Try that one.
Hell, yeah bro been watching you for a while now you're a badass your choice of music is right up my alley. keep it up ill share with all my musican friends and fellow bringers of the beat. ☢🥁
Gotta do my Mcconaughey "Alright, Alright, Alright!!!" 💪💪 And honestly thanks for telling me that because I feel like my song choices are all over the damn map LOL! Seriously, I hope ya keep watching and always feel free to throw out suggestions. I try to read 'em all my friend
@@TreyBDrums all over the place.. lol you should here my playlist.. hell for that matter my set list..omg 🎸 i got a song request be my baby by Motorhead.
Stellar performance! I'm always impressed by how you play the drums. Every note is played with such intent and there's never any tip toeing around any of these songs. 😆😂 You hit like a beast dude. SUPER PRO!! 🔥🔥🔥
Dude, you are the damn beast. I just appreciate the ability to be able to watch so many folks work on here and beyond that to get to know them a bit. Got any other gigs coming up? For real - thank you so damn much for the kind words
@@TreyBDrums Not too much going on in the live scene for me at the moment. That Stones gig was a quick and dirty thing to help out a buddy. I wish my main band, Sick Pigeon, would get off their pigeon asses and start gigging again. We were planning to tour Mexico in 2020 but things got derailed obviously. This would have been a blast! How about you? Are you playing with anyone in Kentucky these days?
Killin it on this track bro. I bought this album at 15 lol. I always loved this band and Frankie was a badass drummer. I never realized there were so many fills in this song. Just goes to show you can't really appreciate a drummer till you try and learn what they do.. You nailed this one bro... Hope all is well my friend.
I just got the notification on your Sixx AM cover. Dude that was a step beyond good. That really was great. Yep, you said what I've struggled with saying. Until you put somebody else's work under a microscope, it doesn't hit home. To me if I think about Banali, I think more of his Bonham-ish style and QR. Well this vibe is more along the lines of a metal Keith Moon and I just didn't fully appreciate how crazy (in a good way) he went on this album. Dude beasted out on a bunch of those tracks
I love seeing you back on stage dude! That is your second home. It always will be. I feel lucky as fuck that you guided me coming out of the gate dude. I mean that shit. I was thinking about that huge ass place in Tampa where you threw your pedals the other day 🤣🤣🤣🤣 GOD that was awesome
@@TreyBDrums Sometimes you just need to blow off some steam, always try to get it out, and not bring back bullshit to our Hotels, that's always family time.. OH. BTW, i came down with the Rona this week.. don't worry, i'm fine, just a few bad days.. on the mend.
Lemme give that an honest listen. Obit is a band I listened to but I didn't really "listen" if you know what I'm saying. I think I got into their stuff about the same time I was getting into Prong and Fear Factory. Straight up, appreciate it and I'll absolutely give it a listen 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘
Man I love this old school stuff and your drums always sound so incredible. Seems like the bass and snare are/were even more prevalent on this one. Great mix. Have a great weekend!!
DOOOOOD...............I'm so happy to see you on an acoustic kit ❤❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘!!!!! Good ear - the mix on this one was me getting home at six on Thursday and mixing / editing in a 4 hour window. I was afraid to miss another week. That's what TH-cam does to us - we get afraid to miss weeks 😂😂😂😂
That's awesome! Dude, this whole record for whatever reason really got my ear. I started like "really" playing around 15. This had been out a while and I was more into Pantera, Rage, etc. But I did the cassette a month thing through one of those metal magazines. Anyways, they threw in a copy of this for free and I would listen to all those fills and I was fascinated. I played along to this one, Thunderhead, Real Me, Rebel in the F.D.G. (which was basically Wild Man if I remember correctly LOL!) - I dug the hell out of the drums on this album.
@@TreyBDrums I know that record is amazing I picked it up in 1989 I was 23 it got me through the hardest times of my life back then thank you for sharing ..play some more of it I love seeing other people play I can play 2 Pantera songs but it's hard work lol
@@mikefromohio6489 Dude, that record shows he had serious range in his drumming. I always think of him as a Bonham guy but he's really going for it on this whole album. Much more along the lines of Keith Moon but doing his own thing. Can't compliment his work on this one enough
I sure appreciate it and it's so great to hear from you bro!!!!! I went over to your channel and just did what I always do when I watch you jam. Sat there and said "DAMN" - you're straight killin' it as always dude
A tight rendition, man. Not only is your playing always rock solid but I also greatly enjoy your choice of bands to cover. W.A.S.P.'s The Last Command was the first album I ever owned. My mum bought the cassette for me as Christmas present when I was eight years old; I decision she undoubtedly regretted many times.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ALRIGHT! That comment has made me laugh bud!!!! Let's see, I was 5 or so when Mom got me a Kiss album. She has also said she's second guessed that purchase LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! For real, thank you so damn much for the kind words & the amazing support 🙏🙏🙏
Trey brother this is super wicked you gotta love some WASP! This is badass drumming those fills are so heavy and your drums sound monstrous! This tune is one of those ones that causes speeding tickets and possibly even a cop chase lol! Much love and respect to you my friend!
BRO!!!!!!! What is up Jeff? Man I am so damn sorry for the delayed response on my part. If you get a chance, check out the video on here that somebody did to this tune with various scenes from Mad Max 🤣🤣. Dude it is royally bad ass. Way more bad ass than my little diddy. What's new man?
Mike! What is up dude!!! I love that tune. Don't really know why but it's so catchy and it's a Mean ass riff. I still don't know if the drums I did on this are close to the album LOL! (I know the structure is in keeping with it but I didn't have any kind of lick for lick approach). I was just happy to do this and I remember, I had just watched the Chris Holmes doc that came out and IMMEDIATELY started listening to this tune again 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Awesome. Looks like a workout. According to the only place of truth (worldwideweb), Frankie Banali is the drummer on this album. Great drummer RIP. I can tell you had fun on this one.
Oh I had a blast and I hope to do 3-4 other tracks off this. Thunderhead would be the next one. It's yet another track where it just makes you go "I can't believe that's Frankie Banali!!!" Appreciate ya Doc!!!!
Wow I don;t know how you have the energy to play like this I would have a heart attack if I tried lol but I can't play drums so no worries mate. Excellent work Trey as always wishing you the best with a thumbs up cheers my friend
Hayden!!! What is happening my friend? Admittedly, this one has some get up and go to it and I am not using my "cool" face too much 😂😂. It's more of a bite my teeth and try to hurt my equipment face HAHA! Fun song. I hope you are doing great and thank you so, so very much for your kindness buddy 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤
Yo Chris! Dude, I can't wait to check out your cover of that. I did it too last year. That tune is fun as f*ck to play. I like the original too but the way Banali structured his fills is the shit. And to his credit, he didn't stop. That song is all out. Appreciate ya bro! 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
I sure appreciate ya checking it out! I've got to find out which drummer is on this track. It's fascinating to me that this could be Franki Banali. Banali was an incredible drummer but if this is him, as it would seem to be, he really had some range. He was much more of a Bonham-esque guy. This is a metal Keith Moon thing. And dude, he does this type of stuff through the whole album. Appreciate ya my friend!!!
Great power on the delivery! You drum like your life depend on it! And ya make the same faces as I do! Great performance. I found ya doing a version of hooligans holiday. We have the same taste in music. Keep up the good work bro
Eduardo! It is always nice to hear from another member of the drum face club!!! Oh Lord dude, I love to mix but I'll start editing video and think "Why in the hell am I making that face?" 😂🤣😂🤣 Awesome to know ya found me through the Hooligans cover. I actually kept it because it was one of the first ones and I have a drums only version I'd like to put up on here. For real, thank you so damn much for being kind enough to watch and to be so incredibly kind dude. Have a great weekend!!!! Always feel free to throw out song suggestions
What up Gareth! I've done it and I'd be honored if you'd check it out! I wish I could do that one once a month LOL! I did that and in my first year on here, I think I did Crying In The Rain. That era of Whitesnake is just them hitting the damn epic button over and over and over. They had Cozy Powell, moved to Aynsley Dunbar in the studio and then used Tommy Aldridge live. Now THAT'S a bunch of massive drummers 😲😲😲😲
Hey Brice!! The drum sound on the whole album is definitely not my speed but I love what Banali did. Part of what makes it so damn interesting today is listening to it and thinking "That was Frankie Banali?" I just think of him in more of a Bonham vibe but I think I remember reading that W.A.S.P. or Blackie wanted that Keith Moon approach. Thunderhead was the tune I heard first and was like "Whoa". It was a different kind of vibe on that kind of record. If you read this, feel free to throw out some other suggestions dude. I try to read them all. Appreciate you friend! 💪💪💪🤘🤘🤘🤘💥🔥
@@TreyBDrums Thanx for the reply. I should have written that I didn't like the drum sound on the album... I don't always express myself the right way but that must explain why I play music instead ;) Btw are you sure they are real drums on the album? It sounds like a machine don't you think?...
@@briceleclercq101 Dude, I totally knew what you meant LOL! But, I've had other drummers say they think Banali overdid it and I've respectfully disagreed with them. Hell dude, it's drumming. We all hear what resonates with us and to me, whatever that is means it's right. YES - it does have a machine type quality. I really wish at a minimum they would have punched up that kick drum and really lifted the room mics. Frankie hit as hard as anyone you'd ever see. He really did and I wish that came through on the sound of that album Brice
What up Carl!!!! Bro, I can't tell ya how much I appreciate that. I will 100% take it and tell you that I mean it when I say I am grateful as can be for the support and the kindness 🤘🤘🤘

There's something unique to your approach to the kit and your style that oozes the kind of showmanship, intensity and professionalism that only the true pros can bring out in a performance, and you consistently bring that in spades!! 🤣 I said he couldn't play on any house kit I've seen last week. Too low, flat and his hats are over his head but it looks so damn cool
🤣🤣🤣 I'll take it buddy! If you can time my vids right after you light up, it can't hurt LOL! I'll take any help I can get HAHA! MP bud, I hope you're doing great and thank you for the smile and the awesome comment bro 🤘🤘🤘
Wow freakin awesome dude 🤘🤘
Killer!!! Great performance! 👍😊
RD my friend, thank you so much for the kind comment and the support my friend! 🤘🤘🤘
LoL
If it’s pronounced balls to the wall… Pedal to the metal…or Up the Irons, It’ll pretty well all describe how he plays.. Trey! 🤟😎
And I waited and waited and that damn drum key didn’t go flying
VERY IMPRESSIVE... Listen to Wasp for 40 years + And Still one of my Favorite Bands...... Love your Talent.
Aw dude, that's insanely f'n cool of ya to say. I sincerely appreciate you being kind enough to just watch let alone leave such kind words. James buddy, hope you have a great weekend!!!!
Beastly performance once again Trey!
I just really appreciate ya watching MD! I had to leave a comment on Black Parade. I'd seen you do that and couldn't comment. DAMN that was good dude
@@TreyBDrums Thanks again Trey! 😉
@@TreyBDrums thank you 😊
I feel so inferior when I watch you play.
Just raw power and energy! Wow you killed Trey! Awesome! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
@@TreyBDrums Of course you would not have played in W.A.S.P. at the age of seven........ it would have interfered with your dating!!! 🤔😲🤭 😂😂😂

Roger That …….. old school LA band , this was Slammin Trey, you’re a Beast Bro 😎
I'm pretty excited that they are touring America again. I say that with no intention of going to a show but it sounds like I might doesn't it? 🤣🤣🤣
Nah dude, I dug these cats.
Haven't heard that in ages. And once again...Trey you killed it.
Right on!!!!
Hello Friend! Nice cover! Very beautiful performance! Congratulations by Stefano 👏👍
Hey Stefano! I sure, sure appreciate that. I just flat appreciate you being so kind as to watch. I hope there are some other tunes on the channel that ya dig and always feel free to drop suggestions. I greatly, greatly appreciate it and thank you so much for just watching NB. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
HOLY SHIT! this is easily the best drum cover video I've ever seen!!!!
Every single time I watch you I am AMAZED! Such an amazing drummer that plays every single note with precision and power! You rock Trey :)
My friend, YOU Rock!!!!! Appreciate you buddy. I was stoked to see you take on the Foo track! GREAT work dude 👊👊🤘🤘🤘🤘
Frankie Banali is a way underrated drummer. He was so good with Wasp. Great energy again.
Trey you are killing these covers. Your double bass work is tight and killer. Love your high energy playing.
ADAM!!! What up dude? Bro, appreciate the hell out of that my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Straight but killer drumming Trey!! And Blacky voice Is out of this world!!!
Enjoyed.

Yet another example of passion in the music, kickass job again
Hey Daniel!!! Great to hear and thank you so much for being kind enough for continuing to watch. I don't come in with an array of blinding chops so passion / heart / effort - yes sir! If that's what comes through I am one happy dude. Appreciate the hell out of ya buddy 🤘🤘🤘

Great song man! Another great cover Dude!

Who needs coffee when you have Trey B in pajamas? Just really dig watching you do your thing man. I get tired watching you but it's worth it.
As always, bringing it home. Keep up the great work. Grew up listening to W.A.S.P. as a kid. Turn them on and jam to them at work now.
Chris Holmes ain't the only mean man! You killed it, awesome job!
Yo Jason! Bro I sure appreciate it 🤘🤘. I'm just really f'n stoked that it's gotten a little response and some views dude. Just pumpin' them out now, what a machine! Absolutely perfect mix, your personal style really comes through.
@@ll7868 Yep, perhaps u right. I remember somethin else about.
But anyway Trey did cool 😎
Also gotta add that Frankie's replacement Aquiles Priester is AMAZING! Plus he has the most impressive and beautiful kits I've ever seen, the metallic silver/white Tama kit with red Paiste 900 Colorsound cymbals is almost too pretty to be beaten like they owe a loan shark money.

Trey... love you drumming style... always powerful, with a surgical precision... this is an awesome cover!
Loved this one Trey! So good! You are awesome. ❤️
You all have fun today Sis!

Pqp. Toca muito, irmão. Parabéns! 🤘🏼🥁🎼🎵🎶

Love seeing my Bro jam his ass off.. Keep up the awesome work.

Trey ive played some of that record Frankie was a beast good job man
That's awesome!

@@TreyBDrums dude that song is so hard to play you're awesome
Excellent job! Would love to do some WASP collabs in the future!
What up bud? WOW - I'll remember that! I'm a huge fan of this whole album. You have some great stuff on your channel bro!!!!
@@TreyBDrums Thank you, Trey! Keep up the good work! 🤘
Phenomenal dude 😎🤘
I sure as hell appreciate it bud!!!!!! Thank you for being kind enough to watch 🙏🙏🙏. Hope there are other tunes on the channel that ya dig my friend
Wow
I don;t know how you have the energy to play like this I would have a heart attack if I tried lol
but I can't play drums so no worries mate.
@@TreyBDrums Your welcome Trey
dude!! 👊
There he is “The beast” I love this song, awhile I covered Wasp 🐝 “The Real Me” Great Cover
Yo Chris! Dude, I can't wait to check out your cover of that. I did it too last year. That tune is fun as f*ck to play. I like the original too but the way Banali structured his fills is the shit. And to his credit, he didn't stop. That song is all out. Appreciate ya bro! 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
Hey Trey, great cover!! 😊👍🎵🎶🥁😎
HEY Sierra! How are ya? Give everyone my best. How are you feeling? I hope you're doing great ❤❤🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums Hey Trey I’m still recovering doing a little better. I will tell everybody you said hello.
Smashed my like this one bro. Those fills!! Kick and snare sounds phenomenal. Not familiar with the song but I dug it 😎👊🏻
I sure appreciate ya checking it out!
Thanks for sharing my friend. Looks like you needed this hahahaha .... Stay safe.
🤣🤣🤣 I was editing the vid and thought "Damn I look angry at something" LOL!!!! Appreciate ya checking it out so very much my friend 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
Solid 🤙
Matthew bud, appreciate you checking it out and thank you for the kind words 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Bad ass brother 🎼🥁
Kevin bro, what up!!! Appreciate the hell out of that and hope you are great dude 👊🤘🤘💪💥💥
Killer Trey🥁
Appreciate that Kevin!!!!! Really appreciate you being kind enough to check it out bro 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
🔥🤘🏽
Appreciate that and thank you so, so much for watching my friend 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘💪💪💪
Killer bro!
Thank you so much for checking it out and thank ya for the support my friend 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Great work Trey, enjoyed that one.
A request if I dare? Whitesnake still of the night. 👍
@@TreyBDrums oh wow i'll be checking that out for sure, keep up the good work mate
One of my favorites from WASP but I never liked the "drums" on this album... You changed that! Keep them coming!
He really did and I wish that came through on the sound of that album Brice
you got some love from me, great cover. :)
What up Carl!!!! Bro, I can't tell ya how much I appreciate that. I will 100% take it and tell you that I mean it when I say I am grateful as can be for the support and the kindness 🤘🤘🤘
@@TreyBDrums you're amazing bro, keep it up, x

Greatly appreciate that and thank you for being kind enough to watch! Hope there are some other tunes on here ya dig. Also hope you have a great weekend 🙏🙏🤘🤘🤘
